Thunderbolt and lighning
very very frightening.
Not an aircraft as such but in Cut some rug by the Bluetones there is a line
And all the time you remind me
Of blitzkrieg and the doodle bug

Bandits at 8 0’clock move in behind us
Then Me109’s out of the sun
Ascending and turning out Spitfires to face them
Heading straight for them I press down my guns.

Have to agree about the Spitfire display, fantastic.

Good stuff Maarvin. Love the second shot of the Extra.

Nice shots Merlin. I like the one of the Gladiator landing with the Hind waiting to line up.

Oh for gawds sake 😀
(or so I was told a couple of years ago)
I thought this was common knowledge (even the wife knows 😮 )
I didn’t know that about the familiarisation flights, don’t have much interest in the Reds really.
I see it wasn’t common knowledge a couple of years ago then. 😉
Neal
Not really the right Forum for posting the Reds, but I don’t venture onto the others.
Two people in some of the Reds cockpits. Mmm.

Hi Spring Chicken. I remember you, good to meet you, albeit briefly. See you at Old Warden.

Neal

???????
Thanks for the photos of the Extra guys. Great pics all round. 😉
Neal
Nice pics from a nice little event. A shame the strong winds put a lot of flying visitors off. Nice displays all round.
Yak 11 Fan, Did I see you at Boxted. I think I did, you never know, we may actually speak to each other one day. 😀
Neal
Nice photos, did you get any of the Extra?
I had a good weekend at Shoreham. Best displays for me were OFMC Spitfire and Mustang, Guy Wesgate in the Fox glider, Chinook, PC7, Dennis Kenyon, anfd Denny Dobson was fantastic on Saturday and was good today but had to work really hard because of the wind, especially during the limbo and ribbon cut.
Today was very windy and some items didn’t display, WW1 team and RAF Falcons. All the other acts did really well considering the conditions.
Another good show at Shoreham.
