Everyone who has posted Elvington pics, thanks for sharing.

A good show, really enjoyed the Skyraider and (shouldn’t say this on an historic aviation forum) the F-16 display was awesome.

I went to this show for the first time last year and I’ll be there again this weekend.

My fave Spitfire pic is the one of Mark Hanna flying round the bend at Old Warden in MH434. Fantastic.

I now expect it to appear here very shortly. 😉

The Cat flew at Lowestoft. As for the Sea Hawk, that didn’t fly at Lowestoft because of straps, I do hope it will be ready for DX.

Someone else who is going to fly in a Chipmunk. One of my favourite aeroplanes and I’ve never flown in one. 🙁

Fantastic little machine, even after all this time it is still capable of a sparkling display

Great display by the magister at DX in June.
Would’ve been even better if the pilot wasn’t scared of heights. 😀

Glad you’re enjoying the aeros. In my last lesson we did spinning, that was great fun.

Also had my first experience at rolling the Extra. Now THAT was fun.

Yakrider, formation flying eh. Not long until we see you in the Aerostars then. 😉

This show is looking good but I’m unable to attend and I’d love to see the Skyraider at OW.

    Hi folks

Just to let you know how its going. I’ve now got 3 hours under my belt, did an hour of stall recovery this evening followed by my first landing, and yes, the aeroplane is still fit for use. 😀

Weather was awful but not as bad as it was when enjoying a Murphy’s or three in the club bar afterwards.

    Next lesson- Spins.
