I think you may have seen a photo of me in the front seat of the Extra 300. I don’t have any photos of the Jodel or the Grob but I’ll hopefully get some next weekend and I’ll post them here then.

Heres the Extra

Up until 1997 I lived in Albrighton next to RAF Cosford. During that time I regularly saw Bulldogs, Chipmunks, Gliders, Motorgliders as well as seeing aircraft like Mosquito, Vulcan and many more at the annual airshow. I’ve also seen various types visting Cosford such as Tucanos, Dominie’s, Hercules and various helicopters.

I also witnessed some aircraft flying into Cosford for the museum,
Belfast, 707, VC10 and Brittania to name a few. And also some of the LTF JP’s.

My family still live in the village so when I visit I’m still always searching the sky for aircraft.

I think I’ve posted this here before but heres a shot of Vulcan XH558 making a wheels down pass at Cosford taken from near or in my Dads back garden.
