A good place to get some JP photos is RAF Cosford on a week day when the Line Training Flight where students are taught ground handeling and marshalling using JP’s.
I Spent a day there last year and it really was like taking a step back a few years. You usually get up six or so Jp’s parked out on the apron and taxying back and forth.

The Vulcan, Victor and Valiant are large aircraft but if the building is going to link the top and bottom hangers then its going to be one hell of a building.
Plenty of room for the Belfast too(my favourite exhibit at Cosford). The height of the tail may be a problem though!

I popped into Cosford a few weeks ago, the BAC 1-11 was parked down by the VC10 and the Argosy was parked on the airfield side near the shooting range.
Neal
Good idea about the Islander.
I’d also like to see a Pitts at Old Warden. Shuttleworth pilot, Rob Millinship, has a Pitts(G-FLIK) based at Leicester.
See http://www.lac.uk0.net/aircraft.htm

In March last year I had the opportunity to do some taxying in a JP Mk 5 at Cosford. Good fun.

Thats nothing, I’ve just had a 152 go over. Oh Hum.

Shoreham, first ever visit and already looking forward to next year.
Fave acts – Denny Dobsons triple ribbon cut at Elvington.
Mark Linney in the Sabre also at Elvington.
Spanish F-18 at Waddington.
Guy Westgate Glider display at Shoreham.
I’d loved to have seen the 747 at DX.

Hi Del
Glad you enjoyed Denny’s display. The website is soon to have some new photos added that were taken during the Elvington show by PGS Photographic. I’ve seen the pics and they are stunning.
Neal
I thought so, I saw you depart. Nice aircraft.;)
Neal
Moggy- Did you fly into Elvington on Sunday?
Neal
Alexis, The pole did just seperate rather than snap due to a fault with the pole. It was fixed for today and it was fine but the pole is to be replaced this week in time for Shoreham next weekend.
The poles are made of carbon fibre and are therefore very strong, the reason the pole is bending so much in the last shot is that the holder is pulling the ribbon too tight.
Best display of the weekend (apart from Denny). Mark Linney in the F-86.

The White Horse in the village of Broom is also a good pub. There is also another pub in the village called the The ****, there is no bar as such, beer is served directly from the cellar.
Ha Ha. it won’t show the name. Cockerel without the erel.
Neal;)
Yep, Rutan Varieze’s. They flew a great routine on three days of the show and certainlt added a different look. I didn’t expect them to perform formatiom aerobatics either.

I check this forum frequently. I too am not a pilot but I am fortunate enough to get quite a bit of flying on a regular basis in aircaft such as Extra 300, Jodel D18 and Piper Arrow as well as a couple of others.
I would like to do my PPL but as with others I just can’t see that happening yet.
Neal
One other prop, Denny Dobsons Extra 300.
