Just to clarify the nose section at Bletchley Park is off Hunter F6 XF522 not a Jag. The harrier is GR3 XV752. Both are under the charge of 2366 (Bletchley Park) Sqn ATC.
Only one thing missing. They didn’t mention what happened to LN514. Does anyone know what its service history was and what eventually happened to the aircraft?
XM692.
Great cockpit restoration. We are in the process of cleaning XV752’s cockpit up. The foam pad just below the HUD probably needs replacement. I notice from your pictures you have one in remarkably good condition. Was this somthing you had manufcatured yourself or a genuine spare? Any info on how we can manufacture or obtain a new one would be appreciated.
Thanks TO. What’s the best way to contcat the shop to check, by e-mail or is there a phone number?
Thanks
Matt,
2366 (Bletchley Park) ATC has the cockpit section of Hunter F6 XF522 ex 92 Sqn on strength. As far as I know it has no association to Cottesmore but might be a welcome addition. If you can give me some dates as to when famlies day might be I will speak to the CO to see what the availability might be.

Peter,
We looked into that. Far too expensive for an ATC Squadron to fund that. Insread we have had the tyres hard filled and we have wheel covers so we should be able to preserve the tyres for some time.
Thanks.
OK Thanks.
Pagen. Thanks any help you can offer will be very much appreciated. Not an immediate requirement but we might need them fairly soon. If you could let me know if and when you have any that would be great. KN52
Out of interest what are the admission prices for 30th May 2010?
Took a group of air cadets up to Cranfield last Saturday for a tour of XS458 and a static re-heat test. Absolutely awesome. Especially for the cadet who got to sit in the cockpit during the engine run. The rest of the cadets were equally impressed and it was good to see them go home with huge grins on their faces after their experience.
So if you have the money to spare please support Russell and his team by attending their fast runway runs. They work extremeley hard work and are very dedicated.
It’s well worth the vist team she’s an iconic piece of aviation history. Where else other than South Africa can you get up close to a fully functional Lightning. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
Great pictures Peter. Would love to see more if you are prepared to post them on here. Thanks.
Anyone got new pictures on how the dismantling / scrapping of the VC10’s is progressing at Bruntingthorpe? Would be interesting to see how this is going.
Airart,

Mark G,
Thanks for the information that’s extremely useful.
