    I’m not 100% sure, but I heard before that they were to be pulled out of service to the UK by 2006.

    BTW, for any NCL spotters/photogrpahers etc, the FA Cup semi – finals in Cardiff should see alot of activities going on at NCL for fans and Newcastle United.

    I’m hoping to get up to NCL for that, should be a great day with some interesting aircraft there.

    Yep, I feel BMi Baby has really missed the boat on MAN…

    Yeah, they havent really made it big there, but MAN could do with a big loco, like jet2. pprune has rumoured EZY to start from MAN but I cant see that, LPL is too close.

    Yeah, I agree there, its an odd decision by Jet2. It wouldnt surprise me at all if they announced LBA-LGW soon.
    On the other hand though, cant help noticing Jet2 are really going to town on this MAN base.

    Its good how they are putting airports on the mainline, or upgrading their rail services in general. Great news for EDI, and NCL, when it gets done.

    Great photos. I was at MME when G-IONA was there, it brought the Portsmouth team up to the Boro I think.
