i believe unfounatly its just for display but i dont know too much about the project i came across it by acident and thought that it might interest a few people
Thanks, thats a useful site some interesting bits on there. Alas i already have a resin cover although that one would probably be more hard wearing.
On the look out for spitfire parts, preferable airframe, ideally stuff that has airworthy potential or that will be good for patterns
Have several BOB me109 pistons and conrods for reasonable bits, plus other assorted stuff
Regards Meanmachine
I would be interested price dependant of course

A little more information for the ‘speculators’ out there the cockpit section pictured in post 2 is part of a prop used in a recent film, to my knowlage it is to be removed mounted on a trolley and restored, as for the remains of PG, the center section and outerwings are to be restored in due course to be fitted to a MK1 fuse
Well i think i may just be tempted to try my luck on the lottery for the next few weeks!!
Thanks for sharing
Happy new year all!
Regards Sam

Cheap 😮 i dread to see what this guy would call expencive!
Hurricane?
there are a couple of nice TBD wrecks in the drink in the pacific, the pics i saw of them they looked pritty good despite salt water exposure
WOW 😮
stupid question prehaps but where did all those come from?

still even given its current (sad) state i cant think of many enthusiasts that wouldnt give various limbs to own her!
surely an excavation on the crash site would provide a large amount of parts for patterns/incorporation into a project, plus with a decent amount of wreckage such as a couple of engines it gives a very solid base for a project a well as a means to start raising funds
