I would say that my worst flight had to be with British Midland.
I have flown with Air2000 and both flights were ok and you get a movie with them.
I flew with BM and there was no movie on a 4 1/2 hour flight and you had to pay lots for everything from snacks to cans of coke apart from your meal of course.
And I have flown with the Greek Olympic airline which had to be the best flight attendants and aircrew that I have flown with. We all thought Greek airline will be as good as the locals are (meaning the Greeks are pretty laid back about things)
But the plane was very clean inside and out (I look at these things) The stewardess were very nice and the captain was always on the tannoy telling us where we were flying over and what to look out for etc etc and they were even giving out free cans of coke. On arrival at Rhodes we were told that there was heavy winds and turbulence so to sit tight and we would be down in 20 mins or so. We arrived at the airport and we told that we were the only plane to land that day and should really been diverted to Athens as every other plane was.
Now thats what I call a good pilot.

two bit of black tarmac go into a pub and order a pint each. They then sit down and talk. The tarmac then order another pint each but this time the bar tender talks to them. He ask how they are getting on and they say fine but he shouldnt really talk to them as they are a couple of hard bits of tar. “see us we are really hard in fact you wouldnt want to see the face of the last guy who messed with us”
however the drink their pints and order another round exclaiming how tough and hard they are. just then a red piece of tarmac walks in and the two black pieces duck away into a corner and lie there hideing in the corner shaking in their boots until the red one drinks his pint and leaves.
The bar tender say this and asked why they were so afraid them being tough and all. the reply was ” yes we are tough but he is a Cycle path”
I know crap joke but then again I can tell somebody this joke and get a laugh.

I wont part with any cash unless I need too as all cash is needed to restore not to aquire.Besides if I buy one that will take away half the fun and sense of acheivement.

All our men really died for was so that we (the British) could have a victory on our hands. Also Maggie Thatcher was out to make even more of a name for herself and knew that a victory would lead to her getting in on the next election which it did but before that she really would have been out on her backside.
I can understand why your son feels bitter by this as he may have seen a few friends go down in the battle etc. But since I was in the army and came out I cant quite get why some soldiers say they wonder what it was all for.
I just wonder why they joined in the first place. The answer why what was it for is simple. Because its our job this is what we do. We train for months on end getting slogged into the ground and then we march halfway across the world and then they stick you in some war that you dont even understand why you should be fighting it. And after these wars you find that your typhoid injection or what ever it is could actually end up killing you. but hey your in the army now and its your job. The sad thing is our soldiers have to go into battle regardless of politics and generally they are for political reason and not in the name of defence.

Hi guys
well for me on a Friday its put my son to bed about 7-8pm get on the computer either flight sims or internet for a few hours. Stay up til about 12 doing that.Or make some of my R/C model (hawker hunter at the moment).
Saturday get up about 8-9am ready by about 11.30 have lunch then yesterday because it is better weather I actually went and did some of the back garden. Normally I would have sat in till about 1 and then went flying my R/C model and then the same as Friday apart from some tv.
Sunday get up the same as Saturday and then about 12pm-1pm go out and fly my R/C model (Spacewalker) until about 5pm and after that Same as Friday Night.
and thats me Dont drink much bear if any as anything I have to do involves driving so I cant risk my licence being hung over in the morning. I work as a driver also.And I dont really go out much apart from special occassions as I need my money for R/C hobby.
We thats it from me.

I know that the posts do sound anti Jew but they are not meant that way but as you said yourself I tried to clear that up.
I think that there are problems on both sides. Why else would Bush ask Israel to completelty remove their forces from the west bank.
There must be something wrong there.
I know the suicide bombers ARE WRONG but arent the Gunships also wrong.Here in the UK we hear of innocents getting killed and aid not getting through to the needy. In Afghanistan if I remember correctly we dropped aid into all the places we could reach. Yes Israel sholud rid Palestine of terrorism or rather Palestine should rid them of terrorists but shouldnt Israel at least let aid workers in with medical supplies and food/water for the innocents.Being Christian up to a certain point (meaning I just like to help people not following a religion or any other beliefs) I do believe in humanitarian aid.I would like to see the Israelis put up a gesture like that.
I really wish that the UN or NATO would pull the finger out and go out there and sort out the whole mess. A cease fire would be good to start but you are probably right a Palestinian bomber would mess it up for everyone. But is that not the problem the individual working on his own (obviously backed by someone) I think that the Palestinians do not stand a chance while there are single minded people out there like that.
I hope one day peace will reign supreme between the two groups.

Johnnie Johnstons book wing leader is the reason I am into aviation today so he woul be my first. Secondly I have to say all the test piots who risked their lives just to get the lump of nuts bolts and washer up there in the first place. and third the photo recce guys who put their lives without any guns in enemy airspace What kind of a guy can do this. Of course their are countless others from all parts of aviation but lastly the German scientist who developed the jet engine / planes. I must say that the ME262 is one of favourites of all times only surpassed by the hawker hunter and harrier.

Hey Rosco I dont know the answers to any of the above questions but YES BOTH PARTIES INVOLVED are at fault or there would be no situation there at the moment.
I never said in any of my posts that Israel had become an Evil Empire.
But with a statement like your last dont expect anything more that a debate. There are many who see Israel as the aggressor just look at todays news from President Bush tellin Israel to withdraw from the West Bank I think that this tells you something about what the west thinks. IE that what Israel is doing is wrong.

Firstly I do not hate you or anyone else on this board.
The coment Jewish hate posting was meant to reflect that I was not posting because I hate Jews because some of the comment could be seen to reflect this but in fact I was exspressing my own opinion.
I think that President Bush has made a U turn on his views on Israel because he has asked then to with draw from Palestine completly but he has given them a thought to think over too. He has asked them to crush this terrorism.
The way I see it is if Israel withdraws (and I think they will because of some reactions to the Bush views) then if Palestine does not manage to curb the terrorism then Israel will have a very powerful friend to help sort out the terrorism one with which every other country apart from a few will listen to.

When I said this you will also see written next to it the words ***AND MORE*** this means 2-3 killed evert time a bomber hit which is about average for what we in the uk hear on the news. The and more bit was meant to reflect the other bombings where more people got killed.
I never once have actually commented on YOUR PERSONAL RELIGION I just summed the Israeli religion up as Jewish which it is mainly ,is it not, or do I have that wrong too.
In Ireland the actually do harbour their crimainal / terrorist and they also arm them so there is a flaw in you posting there. There is many safe houses in Ireland for them and plenty of money to keep them.
Distance yourself from the Israeli point of view for a second and put yourself in the position of the Palestinian just think how it must be for them at the moment. As I have said before I donot like the Suicide bombing and dont want anymore to occur but what else do these people have to fight back with. This is only how I see it as an outside. Just as you cannot see the complete situation in Britain only what you read or see on the news it is the same for me I cannot fully appreciate the situation on the ground for you over there.
I feel I must apologise incase I have offended you in anyway. I just post as I see fit and as I feel. Not always objectively but certainly the way I see things. I am sorry if I have misread your posts in anyway but hey Im only human after all.

I dont think things are all as simple as that and although I might not agree with some of the now historic decisions in the not so distant past I cannot change them. I only can talk for me but I certainly dont take side with anyone in this conflict. Essentially each side is as bad as the other in one way or another either with the Palistinians for using suicide bombers or with the Israelis for using a hugely overpowering military force.
I want to see peace as much as the next man but it will take more than a few words exchange on this forum to change it.
Personally I think Britain and America and perhaps some other countries should go into these areas and control the situation until some kind of ceasefire / peace aggreement is made at least then there should be a chance of fair play between both sides. And perhaps it should not be individual countries but rather NATO or the UN
What do the rest of you guys think??

Firstly I do know quite a bit about the Nazis and if I want I can get plenty more info.One of my neighbours (an old lady) Was working for the British secret service but working with the Nazis.She also attended the Nuremberg (spelling) Trials and by all means knows one hell of a lot.

As an Israeli do you feel that you are totally unbias towards comment made on this board? I dont think so as you gave a very Bias answer in favour of your own people.
There is a difference in being strong and being an aggressor. Your countrymen are using bully boy tactics with the opposition. How can you justify Bombing a town with heli gunships when a sucide bomber takes out 2-3 people (or more depending on the place etc etc) at a time. Or have I got it wrong. I wish that the bombers would stop this senseless bombing but the Israelis have a very mighty arsenal and it is the only way they know how to hit back.
As for 9/11 I dont know how you can compare the two no one deserves a Terrorist strike like that and no one should have anything like that again.

I dont think that we (The British) have put up with Northern Ireland for years just for fun either. I was in the forces and faced Ireland as part of my duty Not that it was fun but MY DUTY as a soldier.
We on main land Britain have put up with numerous bombings over the years Killing many but we dont go bombing people with Gunships. We still try through politics to fix things.
I didnt start my comments to have a JEWISH hate posting here I just displayed my feelings and concerns but you seem to want to start something over this.
I have put up my comments and after all I though it was a free world (Well for most of us) and I think that we have the fredom of speech here in the west.

2: How would you feel if somebody was to throw you out of you bit of land so a jewish family could move in.
3: The Jews have forgotten what it was like to be slaughtered now they take out their anger and grief on another. Oh how the Jew have forgotten the ways of the Nazi.

I know it may look like I am Anti Jew but I am not. My point is that until the Jews settled in that country there was no problem. When the Jews wanted to settle somewhere the Palestinians were basically thrown out on their ear to male way for the Jews. Dont think that was fair but see my comments above to see what really is happening. Are the Israelis the new Master race.
I do not like Nazis in anyway other than as a history researcher and militaria collector.
neither do I like or support any of the actions by the palestinians or the Israelis. I think there is always a better way to sort things out other than war but it is a sad fact of life.
I would like to see the American / British / other nations troops in because I think both sides are guilty of terrorism and need to be dealt with by a seperate force.
