Scotty ,I’ve been asked for the Israeli serial number for the G550 (being fairly local– i.e. Scotland!), I’m told it’s usually iunder the cockpit window, and it looks as though it is on your pic. Is there any way you can zoom your photo to get it?
Thanks in advance
George
One of the American built Me262s had a landing accident about a year ago on a test flight. Are you not confusing this with the recently German finished machine?
The US one is back flying.
If I win this,I may pay with a bouncing cheque! :diablo:
Hmmmmmm—— Looks like a 2006 delivery to Austria unlikely then!
wow never knew they had a Lockheed P-38L

Website says this hasn’t arrived yet,but due this year. Anyone know when?
And why do we not see the Red Bull fleet in the UK?
Wonderful pics Atlantic1,and thanks for the information.
Another post on the other forum confirms it was an AA DC-6,with a Pembroke as crew ferry. The DC-6 heading down to Dunsfold for filming, the crew coming back in the Pembroke. I don’t know why they were near Swindon however!
Ah well,a Marauder would have been nicer!
There’s a report on another forum of possibly a DC-4 and Marauder in formation over Swindon, although the poster admits to be being no expert.
I suggested possibly the Red Bull DC-6 and B-25,but can’t obtain any confirmation of this. The DC-6 is shown as ‘Training’ on the Red Bulls website from 16th–30th May,with attendance at Berlin Tempelhof on the 27th ,together with the B-25,and others, for the Air Race there.
The Red Bull Air Race is at Longleat on 2nd September, could it be in connection with this?
The caption tells the location, presumably still there.
No it’s a Sukhoi Su-22,as previously mentioned!
You know what?
All I was interested in was the pilot flew a very precise, safe and well displayed flight. And he and his crew landed safely without a hitch.
Well, not quite—he was warned on the R/T for flying over the crowd.
It should be here, but not live yet.

You can see it’s not a single engine, and we already know it’s not a twin, therefore MUST be four engined. Still no idea though.
The Skyvans do parachute training at Weston-on-the-green,and I think based at Kidlington.
I do believe the car park directed to will depend on the direction you’re coming from.
I usually have a problem. I’m usually on a tour ‘darn souf’,and usually want to go away in a different direction to the one I arrived. Short answer—YOU CAN’T!
