    Lufthansa?

    Hi Nashio,
may be it’s an idea to enquire with Lufthansa. When I visited Delta Jets new hangar in September last year, there were a Bo105 helo and a VFW614 airliner present.

They were said to be part of a new Lufthansa apprentice school, that will be opened at Kemble……

And….. then you are VERY NEAR to real aeroplanes ๐Ÿ™‚

    Identity of the new L-29?

Anyone on the identity of the L-29?
I think to have seen a Strikemaster in the same grey colours with the same scorpion sign on the tail… Or am I dreaming?

    O tempora, o mores………

    That Kettenkrad is brilliant! ๐Ÿ˜€

How deep did we fall, when Brits drive Kettenkraftrads and Germans fly Spitfires…..:diablo:

O.K. let’s make a deal: if you Brits cancel Brexit, may be the EU will fund a Mossie for the BoBMF? ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Having some time to spend while heading for the ferry, after this year’s RIAT, we decided to pay the DH museum a visit this July……..
And I totally agree with you all. It was a treat to see THREE Mossies in one hangar!
A fine museum with very dedicated volunteers.
    Definitely worth a (long) detour!!!

the illustration comes from the 1935 book ‘Wat vliegt daar?’ by E. Smits

Hope it helps (a tiny bit)

What would you think about this? It is a picture of a Koolhoven FK-41 after a landing mishap at Surabaya in the former Neth East Indies
Desoutters and Koolhovens were one and the same I think?
The picture comes from an album owned by the late aunt of a friend
