Lufthansa?
Hi Nashio,
may be it’s an idea to enquire with Lufthansa. When I visited Delta Jets new hangar in September last year, there were a Bo105 helo and a VFW614 airliner present.
They were said to be part of a new Lufthansa apprentice school, that will be opened at Kemble……
And….. then you are VERY NEAR to real aeroplanes ๐

Identity of the new L-29?
Anyone on the identity of the L-29?
I think to have seen a Strikemaster in the same grey colours with the same scorpion sign on the tail… Or am I dreaming?

La Ferte Alais – correct now ?
No, it is ‘La Fertรฉ Alais’ actually !!!!
But if you ask for the direction to Cerny Aerodrome when you are under the Eiffeltower they will show you the way:)

O tempora, o mores………
That Kettenkrad is brilliant! ๐
How deep did we fall, when Brits drive Kettenkraftrads and Germans fly Spitfires…..:diablo:

Nice footage, thank you! Especially the Zephyr and Alcyon F-AZRP, which are new to me!

Old news…. The article dates from May 2017 !!
O.K. let’s make a deal: if you Brits cancel Brexit, may be the EU will fund a Mossie for the BoBMF? ๐ ๐

Wonderful job, Yakman…
Already any ideas about its future registration?

Having some time to spend while heading for the ferry, after this year’s RIAT, we decided to pay the DH museum a visit this July……..
And I totally agree with you all. It was a treat to see THREE Mossies in one hangar!
A fine museum with very dedicated volunteers.
Definitely worth a (long) detour!!!

Did anybody see a French Skyraider in the neighbourhood, perhaps??

What would you think about this? It is a picture of a Koolhoven FK-41 after a landing mishap at Surabaya in the former Neth East Indies
Desoutters and Koolhovens were one and the same I think?
The picture comes from an album owned by the late aunt of a friend
