They just updated the maps in Russia (roads and city names), which they have never had before. I checked out Kursk and it was updated, last time I looked at it must have been well over a year ago, and it was really poor res. Anyways, my mistake.
Maybe this has been posted before, but I haven’t seen it. The design of the fighter has not only been confirmed, but it is already being built. The Russian media has been reporting that the PAK FA has went into producution a few months ago at the NAPO facilities in Chkalov with cooperation with the Krasnoyarsk-na-Amure site.
Whereas western announcements are much more reliable and never even consider being optimistic… in fact they often underestimate performances badly… the F-22 isn’t just the best fighter in the world it is actually the best fighter in the universe forever. Nothing will ever designed to be better except F-22B and C through to F-22Z.

It’s like all the american sites saying that the f22 guarantees air supremacy for the next half century, when they don’t really know how good it or the Russian counter-part really is/will be.
Hopefully, threads like this will be obsolete soon, as Russia and Belarus might well have a joint army soon. Russia is still not too keen on it, as they would be getting the large part of the bill for it, but it still looks likely to happen within the next 5-10 years.
