Ha Ha David. 😀
Yeah it was the EirJet I was on about.
@ SHAMROCK321, Deffo an A300/310 with the writing in blue. I know they have A320’s with the green writing but cant figure out what’s with the blue version.
If you look at any plane on the groud its wings will be drooping down with enough weight, ie. fuel, inside them. As the plane gets faster on the take off roll the wings, producing lift as they’re designed to do, will lift before the rest of the plane. Looks like they take off on their own. This is natural but just seems unreal on larger types.
I’ve seen B52’s in action and the flex on the 747 or the A380 is nothing compared to it.
Cheers, Oh great Airbus pilot one. 😀
Seriously, thanks Wysiwyg.
Try this site. http://www.avsim.com/projectairbus/ Other than that try a normal search for FS2002 on http://www.avsim.com.
All depends what you want to add. There is obviously alot out there on payware and freeware. Your best bet first off is go to Avsim.com, Flightsim.com or FSFreeware, com and check out what free stuff is available before you start buying anything. I dont know about FS Terain myself but there is some great scenery packs available free for FS2002 at any of the sites above.
Hope this helps and you fnd what you’re looking for.
I can’t help you here Matt.
A friend of mine has 2002 aswell and he wanted the iFDG MD-11 in Aer Lingus colours but didn’t have broadband so I got for him. Unfortunately I couldn’t load for him as I couldn’t get to his main aircraft file.
I am now thinking 2002 installes differently to 2004 somehow so don’t know what to do to help him or yourself. Hopefully somebody with more knoledge of 2002 can help you and my friend.
When you access the file library on the top left line of text, go to the change category section. A window of selections should appear, go to FS2002 Original Aircraft or FS2002 Aircraft repaints, textures and modifications. Everything you could ever need is probably here.
I will check here again later on see how you got on. Let me know if you have any more questions will try and help.
I cant help you with the throttle problem Matt, Im on FS2004, but it sounds likeyour throttles aren’t in sinc somehow. Hopefully someone else on 2002 can sort that for you.
The good news is I can help with your other questions.
Real liveries and planes can be downloaded for free at Avsim.com .
You can take pictures by using the PrintScreen button on the top right of your keyboard. You have to then go to your Paint program, or similar, and edit the pic to size, normally jpg or jpeg for better quality.
Only problem with this is you have to edit and save every pic before taking another one. But you can overcome this by downloading a program at Avsim called FSScreen. Go to the search area and type in fsscreen.zip and you’ll get it.
Hope this helps, welcome to the sky and happy and safe flying.
What are you running on Shamrock, FS2002 or FS2004? I’m on FS2004 and not sure if I really need this update. I can really do without some of the traffic as I’m turned up to 100% traffic. Any more will kill the computer. 😀
I had to turn down the traffic settings after buying Ultimate traffic when I ended up sitting for over 20 mins at major airports like JFK, LHR and ORD. 😀 It shows up good though what its really like at busy times. Plus its better than the default traffic.
Only problem now is the lack of a decent ATC. Hopefully that will be sorted sometime.
Im on broadband and would like to join in.
Only thing I dont know if my piloting skills would be good enough yet. Still game for a laugh if possible though.
LMAO 😀
LMAO 😀
No problem Deano. Just happy they’re back again.
Not PSS site Deano777, was looking for POSKY site. Must have been down for maintenance or something simple like that. Thanks anyway. 😀
