    RE: worst ever flight

Hello. My worst flight was when I went to NY from London. I think I was on an old BA 747-100/200 (not sure which) and I was given seats right at the back which we hadn’t asked for and it was a cramped, uncomfortable flight. The service was very poor: They ran out of drinks half way through and I couldn’t see the TV on the bulkhead! I appreciate how good TV’s in the back of seats are now! I hope nobody else had that experience on one of their flights, there food was also terrible and they ran out of certain meals… Absolutely terrible.
But it didn’t affect my loyalty to BA and I had a thourouly enjoyable flight this time round.
    Regards

    RE: your favorite airplane

hi there. On a recent trip over the pond I flew on a BA 777. I found this a very good experience. They are very nice aircraft.
I also find A330’s very nice and while at Manchester in midweek I saw a very nice Emirates example. I like the Tristar also, although it is getting a bit old.
I also think that Embraer regional jets are very nice but does anyone share my view that the regional jet companies such as Embraer, Avro, Bombardier and the new examples from Alliance are beginning to look very much alike?? I am worried that aeroplanes are losing their identities which will be a great shame when they start to replace aircraft with such types.
    Regards

    RE: Virgin

I think that Virgin have excellent IFE and friendly crew. BA have better credentials on their newer aircraft, but the 747-100’s may be classics but they are awful for comfort and IFE.
    KLM crew are very friendly.

    RE: Triple sevens

Sorry Raggi, I must agree with Matthew that the 340 is far superior in range and comfort. I am travelling on a 777 later this month so I may be swayed!
Also, I can’t wait for the ER to arrive, big engines are agreeably very smart.
