Thanks for the replys, i recall seeing the plane parked beside the control tower when passing along the A30. My most vivid memories would have been seeing it come very low and bank over the top of Yateley village with its engines making a very distinctive out of the ordinary whine, this would have been during 1997 as i remember telling a workmate what it was, i only wish i had taken pics of it when it was parked up.
In fact you would always identify it a while before you would see it either departing or arriving from this strange engine noise.
Probably one of the few more recent types that can be identified from powerplant noise alone unlike the old days!
