Oh I should think so, but it is mid restoration so not looking good at the moment.
We were talking about doing the Lowerstoft run, would love to come see your little Mini. Great Elf Robbo, very nice indeed, as is the paint job on the pink one.
I know it isn’t a classic Ian but at least it didn’t break down on the way home, which is more than could be said of Loops.
No it just didn’t want to go out in the hot weather
It was very dirty and dusty when we got there and my classic Clubman had broken down on Friday before so I was left with no option.
I was happy anyway. Yes I did all the polishing myself 😀
Oh doesn’t he look so sweeet 😀
I saw him fly at Legends. All I can say is superb, he made it look like the plane was not working at all but just flowing through it’s routine without any undue pressure being used on it. Excellent
Well there is not enough of him to fill them.
Looks like a forum trip to recover parts then. The fact still remains our Mustang loving comrade is missing.
Have you checked the watering holes on route?
I don’t know. We let these Americians borrow our members for a couple of weeks and what do they do, misplace them!
On the other hand we are short of a Sea Fury, maybe a few trips and we can slip it into numerous pockets.
No beers after Cubbage always.
Yep the other cub is undergoing refubishment. The other one ended up on the beach some years ago.
When is it? We went last year and it was superb.
I think they are a tad over protective of the Cub. I will pop over when you are down there. Maybe have a few beers and you can show me how you fly that Cub, on my hours of course 🙂
You do tend to have to work the rudders well don’t you, always gives me a smile on my face. The last two Cubs I flew have since departed the registar.
Maybe they think I am bad luck!
Very nice and I still haven’t flown that one yet.
Yes we do appreciate it, thank you.
Anyway some of us were on airfields this weekend working 😀
