Oh… my Friday afternoon (bored at work) wit is again blown out of the water.

Anyway, I shall be departing now, for a public house, serving the best in beverages of an alcholic substance.

    Have a good weekend 😀

Very true… I don’t know the answer to be honest, if your letters go unanswered or just ignored and the press will not help.

However it seems that somethings need to be taken notice of, it is true a national museum should display the aircraft as well as they can, and in almost total darkness is not the way it should be done.

Maybe we should push the magazine that WE buy and WE keep running to bring these points up. Actually maybe not with the spelling problems!

They just need to be more better 🙂

Hendon are just like that, the guy in charge Dr Fopp IIRC is a great guy and all up for looking after Hendon. However the chap who runs the museum day to day is about as much good as a chocolate fire guard and the planes are gradually falling apart. Whilst I was there we did a lot to sort out problems and the team that are stil there are doing a great job, but they don’t have the backing or the numbers to support such a large collection. The management need to sort it out and soon.

Milestones of flight is not good but is 100% better than ‘our greatest hour’ and Hendons worst!

We are very lucky, but it does leave you asking if the display circuit can support three. I do hope so!

Best wishes to the guys down at Lee on Solent and to the new aircraft at Duxford

Sorry I was trying to comment that it is not in bad condition now, after it was worked on. The comment was made that it used to be a good aircraft inplying the present owners had not looked after her, when in fact it was in an apaulling state when it got to Duxford and only through the hard work and care of the present team was it brought back. I appreciate the smoke from radials, but it was dropping oil in epic amounts when it arrived.

Good luck in finishing both of them.
