Boeing is pushing the F-18E/F far greater then they are the F-15E .

The question I have is why? I bet a newer F-15E could probably offer the same capability as the FA-18E while not having the limitations of being a carrier plane, making it better suited for export to nations that dont have a carrier…

In KNAAPO’s booklet about the Su-35, it is clearly indicated that stealth features are incorporated into the design.

Yeah, but it just looks so… plain without them canards. 🙁

    Boeing: a tailless F-15

Did you just make that up, or is there really a tailless F-15 on the drawing board at boeing? Pleasepleaseplease tell me!!

What they really want is to sell more F-15s.

They’ve been offering the Super Hornet left and right, from what I’ve seen…

I was under the impression that the KFX program was pretty much dead in the water at this point.

Advanced Gripen, maybe? There’s talk of a heavily modified LO Gripen concept in the works, after all. Here’s hoping this comes to fruition; I always liked SAAB designs.

    EDIT: Yeah, this thing.

However, I always question if there was ever a need to develop the side-by-side version SU-34/32. Please correct me if I am wrong, but ASFAIK, I don’t think its payload is that much different to other twin seat tandem versions of the Sukhoi such as the SU-30 MKI/MKK?

I’ve been wondering that myself. From my limited knowledge about it, I think I read somewhere that the Su-34 has increased armor protection for it’s cockpit, as well as avionics more in line with a true bomber than a strike fighter like the Su-30 from what I’m seeing from the wikipedia article. Also, I think it’s shaped nose lowers it’s RCS a bit, and the Su-34 holds more fuel from what I’ve read.

That’s my two cents, but I’m not sure though; there’s bound to be someone with a bit more knowledge. I’m more interested in the avionics and systems side of it.

This whole “company” seem to be a big fun project of a bored aeronautical engineer. Hm, could be me.

Hell, it was YOU who started this thread. Trying to spread the word and get more funding for your hyperdrive-enabled space fighters, I see? :diablo:

I’ll pitch in, but only if you promise to personally deliver to me a fully capable Stavatti Fighter Jet at my house in the end. I want to park it by the lawn gnomes for decorative purposes.

If the nine hawks and that one Raptor had a full combat load suddenly materialize on them and they turned on each other in a dogfight to the death right there, I wonder who would come out on top? :diablo:

What do they plan to do with the F.3s once retired? Send ’em to the boneyard? They might have some export potential. It’s a big jet; lots of room to expand and upgrade.

Intersting; given how US-controlled Iraq is right in between Israel and Iran. A major factor to consider, indeed.

    Grr…

The X-32 is not THAT ugly. Later version had a redesigned intake that made it a bit more streamlined. Stop being mean to the poor X-32! You’ll hurt her feelings. Besides…

There’s no such thing as a person so ugly that a little make-up can’t fix. 😉

Eventually, you just learn to avoid the topics where there’s a pissing match going on. And I think you can block the posts of some people if I recall…

On the contrary, I think it has improved considerably from where it stood only couple of years ago

You mean it was even worse!? What were they doing? Death threats? 😮

Something drastic has to be done

Perma-bans, I say. Get rid of the troublemakers.
