(Read Su-34 completely immune from Missile attacks)
*cough*
If you’re actually being serious, at least TRY to back that claim up with proof. Give us the link to the information saying that the Su-34 is immune to missile attacks. And I mean IMMUNE, just like you said.
If I misread what you said, please tell me. Until then, I’ll be over here laughing my ass off.
It makes your enemy double check his gun camera’s setting when we sees great big whopping pixels all over the images.
So countries still believe in the validity of the dogfight, then?
Still, I suppose your idea makes some sense; I was under the impression that it the same logic behind the US Army’s new pixelated camo.
But would a missile’s sensors care if the plane is all pixel-y? I mean, could it confuse an IR missile, or something?
^^^ Regarding the Yak-130, will the RuAF be getting any single-seat models for any reason?
No need for a chute. The pylons do the job :diablo:
 😀
Bah humbug
havn’t they been saying that for the past 6 years?
Meh, the project has been stuck in a state of quantum flux since, like, forever. I can recall them claiming the thing would fly as far back as 2004. But I digress; there’s a whole ‘nother topic devoted to whining about the PAK FA (whining and arguing, like every other post in this website, ever :diablo: ); besides, I heard somewhere (cant remember where, as usual I might add) that Chavez was also interested in Su-35 for the future??
:p
EDIT: Ah, here it is
It would be funny if the F-22 can change the weaking dollar trend
Maybe we should sell Venezuela some F-22s then. :diablo:
EDIT: Oh, so THATS what you were talking about. Didn’t see the article before. Good god man, Raptors in that region might just make things worse, even if they are USAF. Doesn’t the US want to PREVENT an arms race?
Before you know it, Chavez is buying the PAK FA to counter the Raptors. Like he needs THAT jet to stroke his ego. 😮
I know norway is currently in the market for a new breed of jets; what are there requirements? Air Defense? Multirole?
Also…..what variant are the Kfirs? C7 or C10?
According to wikitarded:
“on February 2008, Colombia signed a deal with the Israeli government to update the 11 Kfir C7s to the C10 version and acquire another 13 former Israeli Air Force Kfir C10s.”
According to this link, the new jets should be delivered at the start of next year.
EDIT: Ya learn something every day. I’m truly surprised Israel is still building the old Kfir.
Does anyone know when the VAF will get thier last 10 Su-30s in? Also, what armament has Russia supplied for their flankers?
So, presuming that this does infact ignite and lead to direct warfare, and presuming that Venezuela wins, what happens then? What does venezuela intend here?
Su-53/57 Flayer :dev2: :diablo:
How ’bout “Su-51 Firebrand” 😎
Eh, if the recent naming of jets is any indication, (Flatpack, Flounder *barf*) it will probably be named something like “Furnace” or “Fishpuppy” or “Foreplay” or “Fornification” or something.
EDIT: I got it! We should call it the Su-51 “Funky!” Say it out loud. That way ten years down the road we can all call it the Funky Monkey and have ourselves a cheap, retarded laugh. :p
Although details are classified, Moseley says that the Air Force has “played” with the F-22’s AESA, with “pretty fascinating” results. “The physics will work,” he says. “These AESA radars provide opportunities to be able to jam like we have had with the EF-111s and the EA-6Bs and with other jamming systems and pods. This antenna allows you to go out and do the same thing with the F-35 or the F-22.”
My flight instructor once told me a story…
According to him, he was flying a Cessna prop (172, probably) somewhere in the US southwest, and had all of his instrumentation go suddenly haywire mid-flight. Now, he CLAIMED that even his magnetic compass went nuts on him. He then said he saw an F-22 some distance away from his plane, flying away.
Take it with a grain of salt. I have no idea whether he’s telling the truth, but I’ve known him for a while and he’s a respectable person. Maybe he was lying, or exaggerating. Still, if it’s true, it’s quite a story to tell. 😮
Allow me to interject…
You people are actually taking this whole ‘evil’ thing seriously?? I was under the impression it was just a bad joke this whole time. Apparently it’s gone out of hand. Gah! 😮
First you asked about “wanting” as being evil and then described “having” as being evil. While this is far more complex a subject than I’d want to get into in this thread about the PAK-FA, you could at least compare the same things. 😉 Then we could get into the whys and hows.
Blah, if we’re going down this route, might as well make it easy on ourselves and revert back to the cold war mentality of “russia = evil puppy killers” just for old times sake. :p
Is wanting world domination evil? They claim evil Mr Putin wants it and that is what makes him evil, so I guess them having a military domination of the world makes them by their own criteria evil… Yes I agree with you. 🙂
Well every world needs it’s resident supervillain, after all. 😀
I have to agree………..Really, the Super Hornet gets way to much bad heat? Combined with AESA Radar (APG-79), AMRAAM’s, AIM-9X’s, JHMCS, and now 8,000lbs more of power……..The Super Hornet is a threat no one should take lightly!:D
the Snornet is not a horrific aircraft.
😮
Three years ago the entire internet was singing a different tune. Oh how the times have changed. About time the Super Hornet finally got some respect!
Any chance of the USN getting these engines for their Super Hornets?
