Sorry, cannot see a link to pics.

    Four good photographs in:
“Ipswich at War” by John Smith, Neil Wylie, Rbt Malster and David Kindred. The Lavenham Press 2002

No immediate access to scanner I am afraid.

The TV news report said that the round was a 303. It looked the same colour as burnt stone – sort of brown colour to me.

Zepplin spotted by people in Ipswich. My Grandad cycled out to have a look!

Does anyone remember the inscription on the grave ‘board’ not stone? It said something about the servants of one master having no reason to persecute the servants of another master. I remember it being there in the late 60s early 70s. Anyone do hypnosis so that I can remember the exact words?

[QUOTE= hoping to convert an Airfix F.3 to an F.1[/QUOTE]

An article about improving this kit is in the July edition of Military In Scale.

When I was aeromodelling I wanted to convert the same but to the 616 squadron F1 that tipped a buzz bomb.

Will you write an article about your project in a similar manner?

I don’t know if you have to log in, but more info pictures and spec. at:

    http://www.luftarchiv.de/flugzeuge/heinkel/he100.htm

It does not say anything about operational units so assume propaganda purposes only.

I Liked the Mig pics Richard. I am not sure of the authenticity of the colour schemes and the bent tube is on a PF variant or?

    Wreckage follow-up

Evening Star newspaper of February 11th reports that on of the sons of the town and test engineer at Boscombe Down is taking selected parts to Hendon to compare them with parts of the Lancaster there.

A plaque on the town hall honours the Lanc. crew of the Methwold based plane that ditched 1,200 yards off shore who were lost.

    Dear Fluffy

Have U thought about posting the pictures on the “Luftwaffe Bullet Board” at http://forum.luftarchiv.de

The section would be “Die Deutsche Luftwaffe 1933 bis 1945”

They are a friendly bunch and appreciate these contributions very much.
