From a little research, I have found dozens of anomalies. But! I believe these Brisfits belonged to 5 Sqn who were patrolling the North-West Frontier of India from Apr 1920 into WWII. 20 Sqn appeared to have applied their codes on the Fin.
J6598 (C) apparently served with 5 Sqn in Jan 1924 according to Air Britian ‘J’ Files.
The ground equipment in the first photo would have yer elf & safety guys havin kittens. 2 x oil drums for steps. Excellent!:D:D
In modern warfare, the Judiciary sits behind ‘all seeing’ those who fight. Those that fight see and react in milliseconds. Unmanned do not always have a global view nor able to thought process in the lateral. Collateral damage is reduced by that human in the cockpit thinking though and analysing what he sees. Yes occasionally he gets it wrong but most times he knows when to stop and pull back OR press ahead and save the boys. Take the Judiciary out of the equation may see less bodybags.
Soon to appear on that funny site bay of the east:D:D:D
At a highly inflated £££££$$$$$:diablo:
It does strike me as somewhat strange that, with your obvious competence regarding all things relating to the computer, that you haver mastered the art of using spell checking SW. Regards, kev35
Moggy I have to agree with you on this occasion.
Kev, I am totally flabbergasted that your spell check let you down. You are usually the most precise and lateral thinker.:diablo:

My own thoughts on N5250 is that it may well have had a similar accident to K 6250 and was also repaired and returned to flying. We just don’t have that evidence at present!
Usually the fist sign = Brakes ‘on’:)
As far as I can tell, they were delivered in numbers to the Commonwealth Air Training Plan in Canada, Australia etc.
Because of lack of Cheetah engines and U-Boats, Canada developed their own with Jacobs engines as well as modifying the Mk I’s.
Is this your starter for 10 in the whoops category:diablo:
I seem to remember an EE Lightning chewing bricks from a hangar office wall and the pilot climbing out the cockpit onto the roof of the offices?
IIRC, Flying Review had a colour photo on the front cover of a 56 Sqn Mk 1A (XM171?) going down in the vertical. Loverly photo:D
The UK serial N5250 is from a much earlier batch than the Canadian N5250….. work is ongoing…..

It’s not the first time something like this has happened, and I doubt it will be the last.
I don’t know the ages of the children, but I wonder if anyone asked them how they felt ?
Never changes anything, but you wish they would learn.
As an aside, our MP’s are looking after themselves and after taking time off what will happen! not alot I think!http://web.orange.co.uk/article/news/chief_whip_requests_meeting_with_nadine_dorries
