Hi all, I spoke to Steve Vizard today & there is a chance that it will not see the light of day again because of a concrete apron/taxi way.
Steve
That’s disappointing.

Did you get my PM?
Where is this memorial?
Thanks for the tips. What train station did you use when you visited Coningsby? I hve emailed East Kirkby to see if they can recommend any public transport to the museum.
I’m very tempted to take a taxy ride in the lanc but need to see how easy it is to get to East Kirkby first. Speaking of the taxy rides, how is it decided who sits in which position?
Thanks for all the advice!
Hatton – That link looks very useful.
Did the crew of Pink Lady ever consider setting up a suppporters club like Sally B and The Fighter Collection?
That’s excellent Mauld!
I thought I would need the Dogdyke road stop as well, though when I emailed the bus company I was told I would have to get off at the community hall in Coningsby. However their route planner says the bus stops at the Visitors centre. Just a tad confused.
Thanks Steve!
Would the CWH Lancaster be available for walkthroughs?
I think it was a mistake when they only allowed tours of Sally B to people who are members of the supporters club. I’m sure a lot of casual airshow visitors would have been happy to pay £5 for a tour, but would be put off at the cost of joing the supporters club just for a quick look around in Sally B.
If Sally B was able to offer taxy rides at Duxford I’d certainly pay for that.
Thats OK. I thought it would be in the next few weeks as well based on the photos. I’m off work in two weeks – may make a day trip over to Duxford.
Thanks vultee35.
