Glad to see I’m not the only one who goes looking for airfields when travelling by air!

I like nothing better than having a good nosey out the window when there is clear weather!

Any ideas of these airfields? Taken on a BMI flight from Heathrow to Belfast in 2005.

I think Firebird was referring to what the guys from WW2 would do to fix a broken engine rather than Sally B’s situation.

Hope they get sorted out in time for Legends.

Liberty Belle’s planned arrival at Duxford is July 4th!

I hope the three ‘forts will be parked together on the flightline! Although last time Pink Lady attended Sally B was parked near the control tower for walkthroughs. I might try to go on the Friday to see if there are good photo opportunities.

The DC-3 display pilot told me yesterday that the A-26 was on its way to Legends, but turned back due to weather. Same might have been the case for the Saab B-17.

Thanks. I was looking forward to seeing the A-26. I don’t think I’ve seen it since the early nineties.

Does anyone know why the Scandanavian A26 or SAAB B17 didn’t turn up?

Sally B’s website has her listed as attending both days. Must be left off the list by mistake I hope. Wonder if Pink Lady will appear?

No mention of the BBMF or Sally B? Will the FW190 actually be flying?

Sally B’s website has her down to appear. Hope Pink Lady makes the trip from France!

No problem! I’m a bit surprised the IWM website doesn’t have a list. I’ve also noticed you can’t book airshow tickets online this year but have to email or phone. Anyone know why?
