Thank you to everyone for the feedback — good to know that my memory hasnt faded all that badly ‘-) I also remember, not sure if same crew / incident as initially entered here, but I do recall that one “Eagle” had ascended under FAB to point of flameout, apogeed over 120K …. not sure if actually happened, but then again, you hear of things that dont quite make it to the “general public” that military types will do … just for the sheer joy of doing it….
