20 Libyan Airforce Aeritalia G222L Transports ?

Does anyone know anything at all about these 1979/80 aircraft with Rolls Royce RTy 20 Mk 801 Tyne Turboprops, since retired – before the Nato onslaught !?
Am hoping some survived by being in the far South of the country or elsewhere !
They were sometimes known as ‘Mini Hercules’ being nine MT payload STOL types and have since been superceded at the now Alenia plant, by the C-27J which is being used in Afghanistan and by Greece and Bulgaria among other Air Forces.
Am hoping to fly them if any can still be economically made flyable !
