Windshear.Aircraft can land with up 40kt’s crosswind but windshear is created in gusty conditions so the approach is too unstable.

It varies from aircraft to aircraft… 40 sounds very high for most a/c though! Most jets have an upwards of 35 Knots.

Every now and again but not that frequently.

The ‘Fast Jets’ (EUFI, HAR, HAWK, TOR) are regular visitors, which the ‘transporters’ are less common.
