And I remember when your museum consisted of just a couple of rooms !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
So do I, it all started 15 years ago as a one weekend only table top display to commemorate the anniversary of the Prison that covers the site.
The fuselage of Jetstream G-EEST arrived to day, the wings and a few pallets of spares will follow next week. I will post some photos of her over the weekend.
She was packed with spare parts to assist in her rebuild including the toilet!, the main thing we can see a need for at the moment is a main wheel and tyre if anyone can help. Once everything is unpacked and checked we will be able so see what else we need.
Material to start rebuilding HS748 G-ATMI, has started to arrive to repair the outside skin and start to floor her out inside. The computers have now been sourced to go towards the flight sim side of her.
Below is the link for the ‘Rapide’ magazine but am unable to decide whether it is still in publication as it is not possible to date the web page.
It is still available see,
p.s. Would the FOI Act apply to Atcham Tower’s comment on accident reports?
I was thinking the same thing, here is what the act says.
The FOI gives you the right to ask any public body for all the information they have on any subject you choose. Also, unless there’s a good reason, the organisation must provide the information within a month. You can also ask for all the personal information they hold on you.
Scotland has its own Freedom of Information Act, which is very similar to the England, Wales and Northern Ireland Act. If the public authority you want to make a request to operates only in Scotland then your request will be handled under the Scottish Act instead.
Public sector bodies covered by the Act
The Freedom of Information Act applies to all ‘public authorities’ including:
• government departments and local assemblies
• local authorities and councils
• heath trusts, hospitals and doctors’ surgeries
• schools, colleges and universities
• publicly funded museums
• the police
• lots of other non-departmental public bodies, committees and advisory bodies

Here is the AEC arriving yesterday, she was last on active service at RAF Llanbedr in 1990.
Would anyone know what markings she would have carried.
We also had earlier in the day a truck load of props, hubs and engine parts plus a huge search light reflector.
Jetsream G-EEST should be with us next week.
The left over bits at Blackpool Airport including the Shorts 330 fuselage are destined to arrive on the 12th Nov.
