About the AS39 Fleet Shadower… requeriment, it was intended as a fleet patrol aircraft, the idea was to have a low speed great autonomy aircraft to make surveilance tasks in a ship’s convoy.
The plaque on the prop blade of the wrecked engine in batch 5 says the following:
