Have a nice flight!! I love the helios livery!
Someone in my tutor group is from Cyprus. Beutiful girl! I could get local info of of her if I went there.
That airline seemed as if it was going to be really good! what a shame……..
I hope someone takes them up and they will be able to operate after all. They must have the record for the longest time to start up ever!!!! they just kept on putting the date later and later all the time and now this. Weren’t they supposed to be having to ex Go 733’s or something?
When I went into the FD of LH 733 D-ABEC at LHR from FRA the pilot was really friendly and said I should have asked earlier and you could have sat in the jump seat!!
I felt like kicking myself as I walked up the airbridge!!!
When I’m a pilot I will try to let people into the cockpit, especially children, (as long as they dont look suspicios and I’m ready to react FAST if anything happens) as I know it’s very special for people and it makes the flight 100% better!
Nice pics!!!
The OHY A300 has seen better days……..
Whenever I fly anywhere I always look on the web 4 photos of the a/c but I never can!! I asked people on forums to look out at LHR for my A300 and 737 but no-one noticed it!
“Personally, I dont think the A340 looks dated at all! With it’s winglets and long wings I think it’s very graceful.”
Me too!!!!!!!!
Great report!!!! Well done. AF seems great. I’d love to travel on them in the future.
Regarding FD visits, I think it just depends on the mood/personality of the pilot/crew. You were really lucky to see the FD inflight!!
As I’ve mentioned before, my friend from France had work experience with AF last year as he wants to be an airline pilot like me. He got to go on a round trip from CDG to CPH on a A320 in the jumpseat!! and also on a A320 flight simulator at CDG aswell as other things. Of course, it all depends on WHO you know in the business, and not what you know – his dad is a steward on the AF longhaul fleet.
So is the LHR and LGW one!!!!!
thanks for the links of those great websites dc10fan!
The BA one is excellent!
I never flew TWA but I liked them and wished I had!!
[QUOTE=wilag]If it’s damp and cloudy can I pop over, I am fed up of sneeziing and itching my bloomin eyes, peasky heyfever.QUOTE]
I know the feeling so well!!!
It’s been nice and warm here at BRS!
The only time I got burnt to buggery was waiting for a MYT A320 from MAN, a TCX 752 from FRA and a Volare A320 from LGW to arrive in AUG 2003 at RMI (Rimini) in Italy.
I wish I could go on a tri-star!!!
I have a few phtos similar to that of a BY 762, EZY 737 and MYT A320. The people are annoying but you can hardly ask them to move out of the way. One old bat looked at me as if I was an ailein or something for taking a photo of the a/c!!
No they don’t. It’s deff LHR it’s supposed to be going to whatever it was doing.
I live under the flightpath for BRS’s runway 09 (ILS 092)
Lots of a/c in summer especially including all the main UK charters (BY, MYT, FCA, TCX, MON XLA) and plenty of charters from opther countries too (JKK, KM, A3, HH, IWD, FUE, LZ) using a range of a/c. We get all the usual EZY’s, BA’s AF, SN’s, KLM’s EI’s 3W’s aswell.
I saw D-ABTH at FRA when I was on the viewing terrace.
Welcome to the forum dc10fan!!
I’m not exactly a “senior member” here but I know enpugh to tell you that some great deiscussions take place here and the people are friendly!! 😉
