Very nice photos! Just looking at them makes me feel cold and windswept though…! 😀

Why was the EZY 319 backtracking?

    Excellent photos there Adam! 😀

It’s nice to see a few shots from the other end for a change!

Are you – and “snogger” (?) – BRS regulars then?

BRS is my local, I live about 10 minutes away under the flightpath for 09. I don’t get the chance to visit BRS anywhere near as much as I’d like to though!

    Fantastic news for Bristol! 🙂

On Monday I booked a return flight to DUB for 2p! Ticket price was 0.01 GBP each way and Ryanair covered all taxes, charges etc.

“Ryanair will open services to Poznan, Wroclaw, Rzeszow and Katowice in Poland.”

So can you confirm that there is a big demand from Bristol to Poland and vice versa? Obviously I am fishing for some background info. which I do not have knowledge of.

Bristol has a large Polish community, which has been in existance for quite some time. Obviously with Poland now part of the EU it’s growing considerably so I think it’s safe to say there will be plenty of demand.

Sounds like an April Fool. Mind you… a roundabout… now that could be used as a helipad. Crickey, maybe it’s not an April Fool…

    Cousin. :diablo:

I was at LHR yesterday and was upset to see that boards were being put up around it, I expect by now it’s not visable at all! 😡

I was there two years ago and found it was very difficult to take photos. The restaurant on the first floor provides a nice view of the apron, but the blinds prevent you from taking any decent photos and before I had even got my camera out I was told photography was strictly forbidden!

Hope you have a nice time in Italy!

Thats not true. They used them for there AOC as well.

No silverjet are a scheduled buisness airline across the atlantic.

And it is “are not”, not aint.:p

…and it’s ‘their‘ not ‘there’ also ‘Thats’ should be ‘That’s‘ and it’s ‘Atlantic’ not ‘atlantic’. ‘Silverjet’ comes with a capital ‘S’, and finally it’s ‘business‘! :p

Sincere apologies for being pedantic!

“I think that if Tommy didn’t get a job, and a 19 year old girl did, then he needs to get over the issue of age/sex, and focus on ability/potential.”

    Well said indeed!

I spent a week with MK Airlines at Filton for my work experience in June 2005. I really enjoyed it! 😀 Got to go in lots of B747s and DC-8s, the best parts were doing an engine run on an ancient DC-8-55 (9G-MKF) and helping them destroy an ex-Madagascan Airways B747-200 Combi (5R-MFT) which was totally broken up soon after I left!

Whilst I was there I also spent some time with Airbus in various deparatments.

    Well Done Dean! 😀

I’m really pleased for you, and it’s clear from the dedication, time and effort you have put in that it is really is well deserved.

Your reports show the high level of determination, and the reflective attitude which I believe will enable you to achieve your ultimate goal of getting your ATPL.

I’ve been reading your reports from the first day, and although I haven’t left a comment until now I’ve really enjoyed reading them, and gained an enormous amount from them. The last post especially was very well written 🙂 so well done once again!

I hope that one day I will be able to achieve the same!

    Rgds,
