BA’s song is really calming, something they should in the cabin on take-off/landing, it is a refined piece by Yani, BA replaced the voice with just sounds.
I remember the Delta music on an advert they ran quite a few years back here in the UK, it was the same that is now used by Cheltnem & Glouscter building society ???

Sorry to hear about your problems while travelling with BA, but I will agree that they did **** up and theres no excuse for it. But I’m surprised they even offered to pay for you to get some essentials, theres no where in writing that sais they have to give you anything and They could have just said “Better claim from Travel Insurance”, and yes I know most people don’t think about getting any insurance when travelling up the road, so you got quite lucky there. With the mobile phone bill, why use a mobile phone, and it’s not BA’s fault that there lost baggage phone line is only open during peak times on your phone plan.
Sorry but it did look like you were trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

So that means this airline is false advertising they can be taken to court for that cant they, what makes them a “LOW FARE” airline?
Spot on, but I doubt anyone would be able to take them to court as there probably some stupid Labour backed law preventing it.
FD
I have known about this airline for quite sometime and they have tried to get operational for ages at loads of different airports, I also did a search for flights to SFB came out at £693, I can go to MCO (the proper Orlando Airport) for £450 with BA. World Gone Mad.
“I knew we should’nt have had a drink with those BA pilots in Oslo”

OR I found the same itinerary into miami that Bhoy found but for €602.80. Or heres another:
We had 5 nights at the Embassy Suites near Ground Zero. A very upmarket hotel (perhaps 5*) and flew with United on good flights, too, so we were able to make the most of our trip. I think we paid about £480 for the entire trip (per person) – worth every penny!
Hi,
Hey we also stayed at this hotel and as T5 states, it is very nice. Part of the hotel which had just been finished was then destroyed on 9/11. After the re-build which finished around spring/summer 2002 they finally opened for business. The hotel is attatched to 16 screen cineplex, massive gym, and 5 or 6 restaurents, and it’s next to a mall. Plus you can also walk to the Staten Island Ferry & State of Liberty/Ellis Island boats.
Hotel is situated on 123 North End Avenue, Lower Manhatten.
I’ll will pledge something once I find my account details?
SteveS4SSL I see you have a home located off the Cr54, nice, we have homes located off ’27. You have to agree, our areas are much better than 192. (whatever they may say);)
This is a great shame, I found Delta’s MD-11’s to be a smooth and pleasant journey aircraft and service wise.
R.I.P
Are they PTVs on Delta aircraft or the overhead ones? Was it 767s or 777s too?
We had the same 777 on both legs of my return journey with have PTV’s, my brother and my cousin also flew Delta via CVG aboard 767-200 & a 300, neither of these had PTV’s. Even though the screens are quite requested by todays traveller, Delta did not have a brilliant line up of films in either direction of my journey. But skymap provided by Delta’s Horizon service is great, all of the information is live, you get the same moving map but you also get lots of info about where you are flying to and over, it also provides current gates and status of other flights when you land. Although this is probably not new it was first time i had seen a system like this.
FD
Have a nice day
Great photo’s but just to point out pic 11 “Air China 777”, is actually a 767:rolleyes:
Bye
Hi Luke,
I did my work experience in july for two weeks and as much as I would have loved to been able to work for an airline or at an airport it was’nt to be. I ended up working for Hoseasons at their travel centre which was at least as close as I could get to travel, i was able to speak to people from many airlines requiring new fllight prices for next years brochures. Summing it up unless you have connections your better of at a travel agents if you still want some euphoria of airlines.
