The US invasion of Afghanistan illegal? Well how about if Finland had a wave of terrorist attacks which killed plenty of people and shook the world and filled us with fear tommorow, then would’nt you (zippo) want revenge on either the country or funder of the organisation that commited this crime???

Why should a small group of people tell other countries whats legal and illegal when it comes to major desicions like this, thats like France and germany telling Britain how to run OUR country.

The invasion of Iraq this time round was legalised buy the british parliament and the US congress. If no other country whishes to take action then why should they take their opinion and make it stand out and make very clearly ‘if we don’t want to go in then no one should’.

This war lasted just over a fortnight, we showed the world that the US and Britain would not stand idley by when these countries are are destroying our way of life. We also showed to the world that we will not be messed with, and that we will do our upmost to protect our countries, way of life and our interests.

I think that we’ll end this one here, and just agree to disagree.

Virgin have always made BA look really bad. But if you notice BA never strikes back, there’s no silly advertisement campaigns and no outgoing TV adds because they know and we know that that virgin would be able to beat the charisma and history, charm etc that is British Airways. Also I doubt if BA went bankrupt the government and the royals would like to be seen leaving a plane saying ‘Virgin Atlantic’, not very British me thinks.

T5 I feel moraly abliged to offer my apologies, thats the first time I have ever heard someone say they didn’t like Florida, for a real Florida experience don’t stay in a hotel, theyre over priced and quite plain and of course as with most things in the US it’s miles from anywhere. Florida is somewhere for brochure shoppers who want everything inc. in the price and someone to hold their hand.
But the real Florida experience is to stay in a villa of course, and you must have a hire car. If you want to laze around all dayyyyyyyyyyyyy by the pool then go to spain.
Alot has changed in Florida, new malls, new theme parks for a more varied of ages and more hotels, restaurants etc.
How can we go shopping in little malls and only have one world rating theme park even be the same as Florida?
If you like to laze around for your holiday then go ahead, you’ve earnt it, but if thats your plan then don’t pay a high price for a holiday of just sitting around.

Virgin already know they won’t get them, if BA went bankrupt then maybe, but in the mean time they’ll make BA as being the ‘bad guys’ (they always are with Virgin) in an attempt to scrounge more passengers to fly his airline and not fly BA.
BA are easily able to knock back £5million with £1.87 billion of cash reserves and plenty more available with more time. BA could buy BMI (£880 million) tommorow and still have money left over.
    😉 😎

I will say that concorde is an end of an era, and that it is a true classic of our skies, but, at the end of day what comes up must come down and £1m per plane I would find very cheeky and rather an insult, these aircraft could easily fetch 50 times more than that just because of what they are and what they resemble.
I don’t see where BA’s flight prices are expensive, as I travel to the US around six times per year, we always see on the internet Virgin prices are around £100+ more than BA’s. Also BA have quite a few deals throughout the year, World offers, Daily mail flights, annual sales and shareholder discount after november:D
So I wouldn’t expect there to be cheap concorde flights going for around £600 if they were with Virgin, their battlepaln would be offer loads of cheap flights across the board for one month and then slowley bump the prices back up to todays or £100 cheaper.
They’ve done it before they’ll do it again.

Well as I said there was not enough security at the airport and they weren’t going to risk letting us of, also when check-in for your return flight your Bottom of your green waiver form is removed thus meaning you have departed the country and I doubt that there was a full immigration team ready just for us at that time of the night to re-admit us into the country.

I think we would have liked too of got off but they would’nt let us.

I think my mum has had a more worse flight, the next story begins a few years back and my mum and dad were flying out Bermuda for my dads next race, they flew AA 767-??? to JFK but half way over the atlantic one of the generators went out, they were told that they will continue on, then another generator went out and left the plane in complete darkness (other than the floor lights) and the pilots began an emergency landing into Gander. As the plane came into land they lost power and alls my mum can remember seeing is the forest getting very close and all the passenger holding on and each other. A few bumps later they had landed at snowey Gander, Canada were funnily enough all of the local folk had come to greet them, all of the passengers were wearing light clothing and so quickly dashed to the small terminal.
They were told that another plane was being sent up from JFK, when that plane arrived it took a couple of hours to move all of the baggage over to the other plane becuase as Gander is just a small military airport, they only had two baggage handlers and one piece of loading/unloading machinery. they eventually made it to Bermuda n time for my dads race.

    The End
