Do Ryanair go there, if so, I’ll repeat myself from the terminal building.

Early days yet Banupa, let Mother Nature take her course, I am sure there will be some more than adequate answers posted on this subject, which is one where us ordinary folk would like some none political views, and answers from those who possibly know the answers.if you get my drift.

Surely you mean: Let Parentperson Nature take its non-specific gender path-like direction, I or possibly she, could be in possession of enough facts to draw a conclusion there will, or maybe, some more, but not ruling out, less, sufficient-information, conjectures, cyber-communicated relating to the suggested subject, afore mentioned at a, or the, heading, with or without hair, of this or similar threads, which could be cotton or synthetic in nature, which is, or could be, one, or in multiplicity of ordinary, or specially gifted, or even lacking in all faculties a “normal” person, would like, or wish for some, more or less, political, though not excluding religious, view, either visually, or computer generated views and responses from, or by, those, or these who could be in possession, though not enslaved by, information and/or data, should one get one’s drift, or similar tool for removing pins from holes….

I think “they” respond to do-gooders and lefties (can I say that?) and don’t get me started on ethnic and same sex issues! Oh dear, we still don’t know who “they” are, so back to square or is that rectangularly challenged one?

Those takes you back! I can remember the Butler Air Services ones making a bit of a stir with the spotters at London Airport. As I recall, there were 3 of them there at one time.
The BKS one that crashed at Heathrow (London Airport!) I saw on it’s final approach, while at Kew Gardens. The accident was caused by the failure of a flap actuating rod, which caused it to roll uncontrollably just before touchdown. It then careered into the Central Area, hitting parked BEA Tridents. It’s cargo was race horses, which BKS often ferried around.

    LION ROCK
I took my PPL course at Blackbushe Aero Club. It was on the western end of 25, on the grass, next to the A30. We had a couple of portacabins and two Condor aircraft, the CFI was Andy Aldridge.Three Counties Aero Club was a separate entity and used 152s and PA180s. The CFI was Derek Johnson who moved to Sebring in Florida to instruct there. Sadly BAC expired, TCAC are still there under another name. I was there at the end of the fifties, start of the sixties and the airfield owner was Doug Arnold who used to drive round his ‘kingdom’ in a Rolls Royce dispensing ‘wisdon’ to us plebs. A few people I remember were, Trevor Jones, Jo Cush the Brown brothers and Andy and Hazel Aldridge. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who was at BAC during my time.

In the ’70’s Doug had a huge Mercedes limo to cruise the airfield…

I have a copy of The Swordfish Story… Not really suitable for the wall, but quite good reading… Otherwise I have an oil of an Argentinian Pucara low over the sea…
