Best of all is one off portrait of Heinz Ludemann, ( the last recorded pilot of Black 6 ) by Geoff Nutkins.
Also should mention a personal large birthday card, painted by Geoff Nutkins of myself sat on a birthday cake in Luftwaffe uniform with Black 6 nose in behind me!!!!!!!!! This is framed and on the wall.
Practice displays will start the day after the air test if she is serviceable, approval for the display season is about the 26th April hope this helps.
Latest info PS915 completed her air test today at Duxford and should return to Coningsby tomorrow about 14:30 ish.
Her new scheme represents PS888 81 Sqn 1954, Far East,
Pr Blue/Medium sea grey, no doubt pictures will appear here soon.

Yes Lanc eng runs were carried out in afternoon, should be back out tomorrow for max power runs.
Nice picture of P7350 did you notice the change to the roundels and fuselage band?
Oh and I am the one under TE311 with the rivet hammer.

All four engines require oil priming and a few more panels require fitting so probably late morn/ early afternoon Mon

Bruggen 130
Can I ask where you got your info from as we don’t have a mould and have no plans to have one made at the moment
A few years ago we looked into having a H2s blister made but we were stopped from going any further by BAE who are still the design authority for the Lanc.
von Perthes
Yes we will
It’s always pleasure to visit Geoff’s fantastic museum (another plug) will also bring more brochures
Having just read about the cost to visit HFL’s hangar why don’t you visit BBMF and save £50

It’s probably just a mistake that TE308 was over looked. anyway I saw PV202 last week looking realy good so there will be another two seater operational whoops!! I mean flyable in the near future.
Daz
Sorry to confuse you, but of course BBMF are a operational unit I was just commenting on ZH 875’s stupid statement
A few of my favorites are:-
Lonely Warrior Jean Offenberg who was buried just up the road at Scopwick
Blond knight of Germany Erich Hartmann signed copy
I flew for the Fuhrer by Heinz Knoke
Boldness be my friend by Richard Pape
All superb
BBMF not operational, now I know why we didn’t go to the gulf or the Falklands !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mind you I didn’t see the Red Arrows there either, they were probably on a sales pitch somewhere for BAE.
It has been very interesting reading your comments about different schemes for the Lanc, and I take the point about having her represent a Lanc that only did one or a few sorties and didn’t return.
I believe that has been done already as SR-D 101 SQN and KM-B 44 SQN and as she has only been in six different Squadron markings, including the two already mentioned, it is very hard to please everyone, all of the time.
I see no problem in having her represent S for Sugar 467RAAF Sqn
if we decide to go this way, as it will be remembering all the commonwealth crews that gave their lives during the war, and also it would be a good liason between BBMF and the RAF museum.
The Lanc will never be painted in a French scheme or post-war Canadian scheme because of what BBMF stands for.
New colours have been given to PS915 ( 81 Sqn far East), and P7350 is now correctly painted!
