First thought was T31 but those enormous flaps are not right, nor is the nose. Is it the Slingsby T20 then?
Hey, slow down a bit. I’m getting dizzy. You’d better take over now!
Here’s one with an engine! Not too difficult I suspect, and I don’t think we have had it before.
And I suppose the pointy thing is an ICA Brasov IS-28B (or B2)
PS: I typed this before I received your answer!!
What about the Schneider ES52 Kookaburra? That could be a link with German rudders.
The background looks South Africa or maybe Australia, but that doesn’t help me much! The only pointy-nosed S African glider in my records is the BJ-3, but you said it was from Europe anyway.
The rudder shape is somewhat pre-war German (Schleicher Rhön series), or Slingsby Petrel/Sky, the wings are rather low aspect ratio, but I can’t pin it down.
And that very pointed nose: one of the Brunswick SBs?
OK Eric. Go ahead.
That was interesting Eric. I learned something today!
Now for something rather different from a K7 pretending to be an ASK13.
Please, not just the aircraft type, but where and what engine?
So which Schleicher is this? I got out my logbook and see 32 flights in the ASK13. Lovely machine for its time.
So, some sort of detail modification of an ASK13 (that I enjoyed flying once upon a time).
ASK13, or is it a trick?
These are going ten a penny this afternoon. Yes, the VAT Aggressor conversion of the S-55. You can just about see the pilot in the oil cooler right on top!
Go ahead.
So, what’s this?
Sedburgh? Nothing like it. If you want to see some Rohinis (Krishna’s wife):
