Why cut back now then? If they were doing that well there they wouldn’t have started up in CWL and expanded other routes, they would have expanded at PLH instead.
Bloody weatherforecasters got it wrong again.
Yes, Cardiff was not supposed to get any snow last night but it did and quite alot of it. All flights to and from CWL are delayed, but nowhere near 9 hours!
The really bad uniforms have gone now, and the tattier a/c tended to be the 500s which have now gone.
Was there ever a 100?
The 300 has one emergency door overwing exit and the 400 has two, the 500 has a very short fuselage
Sorry I know I sound really thick now. So the 400 has the largest capacity, the 300 middle and the 500 the least?
Despite all their faults behind the scenes, flying with them is as good as most other locos, although they do have a few issues with punctuality on some routes, but thats mainly from MME, so you should be fine.
Possibly they may just use it as a divert airport for NQY, CWL & BRS. Or they could be wanting to redevelop it? I don’t know, and I think it’s too early to say yet, but certainly the past few weeks have not boded well for PLH, and at the moment I doubt it’s long term future.
WOW may possibly start CWL-LBA, you never know. Air Wales now appear to be stuck in limbo. Judging by the response and what we already know, they have a pretty solid route network, but without longer range jet aircraft, I can’t really see much scope for expansion.
I fear Plymouth is losing business to EXT and NQY. For WOW to be cutting back as well, and they are officially based there, is a very bad sign. You don’t cut back from your home airport unless things arn’et going well, and this appears to be the case. I see a gradual withdrawal, eventully ending in complete departure from PLH. 6G have cancelled DUB & moved ORK to EXT, and WOWs expansion at NQY is very rapid. it all fits 🙁
BRS & CWL had it bad on Tuesday, but although one or two flights from CWL were diverted last night, most came in albiet an hour or so late. As usual SE Wales isn’t supposed to get much snow tomorrow and on the weekend, it’s all up north and west, so really it’ll just depend on whether the fog comes back. So far it’s been clear today though.
Tbh I’ve never really noticed any difference between the 737- 300, 400 or 500.
I have just e-mailed Air Wales regarding this latest stage in their long running route saga, and about all the other things that have gone on over the past few weeks, such as the NWI, PLH & EXT route changes, and the situation with bmibaby, which got even more confusing today. When I get a response I will post it here.
yeh, but not as good as £3 lol !
Then we should all leave 6G now coz we know exactly who would win. If this is a stupid retaliation attempt then I think it just shows what an unprofessional and insecure organisation they really are.
