does fold down tv’s mean 1 per seat or 1 every 2 rows?
There is a great demand for outbound flights to America but not many Americans come into Cardiff. In Europe there is also a demand for key cities and many Europeans fly into Cardiff on buisness & long weekends.
geese, are they still knocking about in that liverly? I thought they had all been redone in the Flybe liverly.
Going off topic a bit; When bmibaby first announced their winter routes Jersey & Toulouse appeared to have been canned from CWL. Now on their website not only are they on the route map but they are part of an offer for travel in September & October, which is obviously the winter schedule. So are they or arn’t they servicing these routes?
Jet2 are probably coming in September, but until they confirm it i aint getting my hopes up.
ARRRRRRRRGGGGH!!!Sorry, just a bit narked at that Bristol- Madrid route. Why can’t Cardiff have some decent routes like that? We are “the capital of Wales” after all. Apparently theirs a CWL enthusiasts group campaigning to get Baby out of Cardiff to allow other airlines in! They’ve been approaching other lcc showing them all the facilities & benefits of operating from CWL and have even been in touch with some European full service airlines! Not sure if it’s true but it wouldn’t surprise me, It’s been world war 3 at the airport between Baby, the enthusiasts & CWL management who’ve been trying to settle the disagreement, but I gather their now on edge as to how long Baby will remain.
Travel City Direct are operating a once weekly 747 flight to Orlando from Cardiff over the summer, it was announced as another trans-atlantic service to Florida. But I thought they already operated an Orlando service alongside MyTravel?
How many A318’s have actually been sold? Who operates tham?
the safety cards were not branded anyway
I’ll be getting an Excel one this summer
I have quite a few: Flying Colours 757-200
JMC 757-200
Air 2000 767-300 old colours
Go 737-300
BMIBaby 737-300
Estonian Air 737-500
Finnair 757-2Q8
FlyBE Bae 146
I also have lots of metal
Yeh, give it a shot. If anything they’ll be wanting to get rid of it because I think their leasing a few unwanted aircraft out.
I would’ve thought that now baby are there they would concentrate more on the buissness and “unusual routes”;Paris, Nantes, Toulouse, Lyon, Clermont Ferrand, Venice, Pisa, Rome, Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin. When I say unusual I mean the routes that baby don’t seem to do and tend to be served by the likes of Ryanair. I think expansion into the buissness market is their only chance of survival.
You could fly from GLA to another lo co hub to get a connecting flight. That way you’d see more!
http://www.ryanair.com – fly from Glasgow Prestwick
http://www.bmibaby.com – fly from Nottingham to GLA, Cardiff to Prestwick
http://www.easyjet.com – fly from loads of places to GLA
The safety cards went to Thomas Cook Airlines because they inherited most of JMC’s aircraft. If I can remember rightly the menus were just like little buissness cards with the name of that flights meal and the vege option, most people just chucked them in the bin, including me! Lets just say they were done on a budget
