I feel the makings of “Restoration – The Rule Book” here… ๐Ÿ™‚

I donโ€™t see how the car could have got into that position without the driver realising!

I think the car has tried to pull in front of the truck from the left-hand side, with the truck hitting somewhere near the rear wheel, pushing the back forward and bringing the car into the position you see. Plausable.

PMN, saved me the words there.

You’d be surprised what you can and can’t feel in a lorry.

Still should be interesting. I wonder if it’ll just be O&D traffic, or if people will connect through Stansted.

It stops in Gandor, wonder if they do a crew change. The 737 cockpit is cramped for carrying an extra two.

Edit: they must, it a 16hr+ flight.

I saw that the other day on JP.net, and thought it was a wonderful photograph when I saw it there too. Well Done!

Is there much traffic at this airport? Are there any more photographs?

Even if it was used to jam the aircraft GPS, the aircraft has other means of determining its position. I am sure those “experts” that advocate that these could bring down an aircraft know this?

    Please find those pictures.

A timeless design on a timeless aircraft.

As nice as it is, I would still rather see the colours adorn the side of a BAe-146, again.

Moggy, exactly my point people could travel to see my home but why would they? However with a net connection they can see it without leaving their own homes and for free. The cars shown on my pic are current for myself and neighbours.

People could look at your cars/home via Google Maps, but why would they?

I’m sure someone more knowledgeable than me can elaborate further!

No need, a perfect explanation there.

The JT8D as used on the 731/732 is only about 3/5 the length of the entire engine nacelle.

I recently watched a video on You Tube called Ditch the Plane (which has been since removed by the person who posted it). Many of you will remember it, it was a flight from Libya to Italy (or vice versa) ATR 72 which ran out of fuel.

Was that the one when engineering had fitted the wrong fuel gauge?

I also agree with PMN above, the crew did there job very well and all aboard were saved, but “hero”?
