    That IS the museum, It was moved a few years back from next to the terminal where the vampire and meteorare being restored and that is a rather big job as they were’nt in good condition.

    no, i don’t, i work for a courier company that deos most of the AOG stuff so when a plane goes U/S and there are no parts for it, this is where I come in. By the sounds of it this 767 might be a problem.

    well i do consider the 1-11 to be preserved as part of the ba museum at cosford, so if you are going to be predantic about this well i flew in several chipmunks that fly today, is that better:(

    The aircraft was actually painted by Air Livery at Filton, from there it positioned to Marshalls to be re-configged and generally Monarchized. It came out of there on saturday evening and postioned to LGW ready to operate the 357. It was AOG in LGW with a hydraulic leak. Eventually departed with just over a 4 hour delay.
    It has a premium cabin with 38 seats.

    whatever!! there has to be some smart ass thet knows more. All I was reporting was what i was told by monarch staff.

    I flew in G-AVMO, bac 1-11 to belfast, it is now at cosford.

    so do’nt shoot the messenger!. I was told today by the guys at luton (monarch) that it went u/s at gatwick yesterday and had to get a load of parts from manchester and luton for it to fly today. good start! and it was painted at marshalls

    they were saying on the radio about the noise menace at finningley (sorry cant call it robin hood), just think if they were there in the 60’s and the vulcans were flying out of there, now thats noise!

    the last time i saw it, it was next to the vulcan nose section in its little garage.
