Tiger Moth blueprints
I know that this is not directly related to the thread’s subject theme, but I need to ask this:
A group of friends in Uruguay, are going to restore a DH.82 but lack -as usual in Latin America- most everything they need.
I am looking into the possibility of donating a set of blueprints if these are not too expensive.
Could any one here, point me in the right direction? Suppliers? Someone who can sell me a copy of these blueprints?
Thank you.

Moreover, to the moderator of this forum; I know you are fully aware of your
role here, and in consequence, I just want to point out that FAH-619, is in
violation of the following Key Publishing Forums rules:
4) As well as text-based discussion, contributors are welcome to
post their own or any other material that they have the legal right
to post.
Any copied material posted must be owned by the contributor or
consent must be obtained and credit given. If any question arises
regarding the ownership of the material it will be removed.
5) Posts containing swearwords or insults whether aimed at individuals
or aimed indiscriminately at nations, ethnic groups, gender, religions
and/or cultures will be edited or deleted. Persistent or serious offenders
will be banned.
13) Anybody taking on the identity of another user and posting as such
will be deactivated without notice.
Thus, I openly request that the user id “chapin_01” be deleted from these forums, since it is a spoof of my user id “Chapin01”
Thank you.
Tulio Soto
Houston, Texas
Please take notice:
My name is Tulio Soto. My user id is Chapin01. “chapin_01” (underscore and then 01) is a spoofed user id created by Mr Carlos Planas, a.k.a. FAH-619, a.k.a. FAH-$1.57, and many other clones and user ids.
The same as he did in the WIX forum (from where he has been recently banned) he is using here this user id in order to taunt and to -according to his thinking- provoke, but he is not going to suceed.
The same as it happened to him not only at WIX, but also at LAAHS.com, FMAH, Foro Militar Colombiano, and several other forums, his attacks will only see him exposed for what he is, and eventually banned.
I always sign my postings, I do not use clones nor do I waste my time dealing with his twisted personality, other than when it is absolutely necessary.
The webmaster and the moderators here, have access to the IP addresses and can easily verify that the “chapin_01” user, is not mine.
My full apologies to the forum members, because the behaviour of this individual, Mr Planas, is regrettable and shameful for someone who claims to like airplanes, but spends most of his time trying to cause trouble.
Witness his posting right above this one, just to understand what I mean.
As stated earlier, I will not enter into discussions or arguments with him, I will only respond when I deem it to be necessary and also to expose and document all those photos that he posts, that need to be fully identified and credited to their rightful owners.

This is the photo (Mr. Arrufat’s) as originally published at http://www.laahs.com, without the funny looking fake credits.

Mark, guys:
This gentleman (I am using the term loosely here) is quick on the draw and makes accusations without any proof:
” F4U-5N At Belize Arport
Don Tulio SotoDTS)
FMAH is on left field on this one just as you are. What evidence do you have to support your allegations? F4U Buff/FAH619″
That wasn’t me.
I always sign what I have to say, and do not hide my opinions or the fact that I think so little of this person.
Unless directly alluded, I will refrain from any further postings regarding this individual.

Bringing clarity to . . . well, you know. : )
What allegations, Mr. Carlos F. Planas?
I sign my postings with my name. If it is regarding the oft seen photos that you post ad-nauseam in other forums, yes, it was me who posted that message, and I signed it.
About anything else, probably is just another of your
numerous enemies?
“FMAH is on left field on this one just as you are.”
You FAH-$1.57 are way out in the left field on this (and many other issues). I was in Belize, I shot my own photos.

Bringing clarity to Carlos Planas mind.
FAH-$1.57 . . .now, that’s cheap! 😀
Ollie:
The Bell P-63 Kingcobra, was an evolution of the Bell P-39 Airacobra; they did not see much success in American service (although the P-39s and P-400s saw service in the New Guinea area) and the P-63s were supplied to the Russians and the Free French.
After the war, the P-63s saw service in Indochina (with the French) and in Honduras, with the Honduran Air Force.
The configuration of the P-63 was similar to that of the P-39; Allison engine, the engine mounted behind the pilot, and a long propeller shaft running through the cockpit floor. The doors were odd and looked like automobile doors.
Both aircraft had tricycle landing gear configuration, were single seaters and were designed as “pursuit” aircraft (hence the “P”).
The P-63 in capable hands, was said to be up to pair in peformance with a P-51D Mustang.

Bringing clarity to the mind of . . . etc., etc.,
I have seen these same photos before, basically in any aviation forum where FAH-$1.57 posts. Doesn’t he have anything new?

Bringing clarity to the mind of Carlos Planas
Guys, the airplane looks like the Secan Courlis already mentioned above.
There was a short thread on this subject at the http://www.laahs.com website a while back.
There is no direct link I can post, but if you go to the above URL and then find the “forum” and go to page #6, it should be the 14th thread from the bottom of the page.
There are a couple of drawings as well as some photographs there, plus some data on the airplane’s use in South America.

“At least you see how much money has been wasted for nothing..”
F-15s, F-16s, F-18s, F-14s, S-3s, B-1s, and C-5s
You evidently have an agenda (not sure if it is against the USA or against military aircraft in general) but, just for the one case that will prove your argument as being invalid:
C-5s, have been used throughout the world, to bring equipment, food, medical teams and supplies to areas ravaged by natural disasters. Saving lives, helping to save lives, and helping those in need, hardly seem to me a waste of money. As a taxpayer, I have no problem seeing my tax dollars being used to support people across the globe in their times of need.
As for the other military aircraft, they have served their function whether for training, patrolling, security and even for combat operations.
Would you please clarify your statement, so I will know for sure what you meant?

“hmm this sounds pretty strange for such a new(ish) plane.”
Why? New planes crash, too.

Spurg, would you please be so kind as to correct the spelling, to Guatemala?
Also, Dominica should be either Republica Dominicana (the correct name in Spanish, or Dominican Republic, in English). : )
Thank you.
The Honduran T-33, is the only example that served there. The photo of the Guatemalan T-33s shows them at the La Aurora AB.
