Pic’s from Join
Hi folks,
Join (aka Mach1) from flugzeugforum.de allowed me today to post two of his pictures from the EADS Barracuda. I know you have seen his pictures here in this forum or via quicklink in other sources, but these pictures are original, larger and show more details.
I hope, you enjoy them!!!
Join, if you read this, thanks again for your two pictures! 🙂
My dear British folks, can you please tell me, which aircraft belong to the “Queens Fleet”?
If the British Government fly with commercial aircrafts, how do they communicate with the world outside?
I presume, the Prime minister can’t communicate secure to the troops or to London in in case of an emergency.
Thanks in advance!
The last McDonnell Douglas commercial airplane…. 🙁 🙁 🙁
Dummies of the Hughes/Raytheon proposal for AIM-152 AAAM ???

Very good site and always up-to-date! 😎 🙂
Thanks, Matej, and welcome on board! 🙂
Yes, that picture is from Join at flugzeugforum.de. The same picture is also in March issue of the german magazine Flug-Revue. He might allow me to post other pictures of the “Barracuda” next week.
There is a plan to use the S-3 as firefighters.
RQ-4B
Well, the RQ-4B will have a lot of equipment on board.
Why is the refuelling probe still extended???
Hydraulics, maybe thats why then the nose gear was also up?!
Jozef Gatial
Really? It’s an artist’s impression by Josef Gatial (sp?) who posts on this very board. It’s pretty believable, but, by his own admission, based purely on commonly available conjecture.

I believe in the right of free speech.
But that also meens I have to aspect and listen to different arguments, a other point of view and loud criticism. Before I get too mad or a diccusion gets too hot, I ignore comments and end the diccusion.
I was a bad idea of other european press printing all Danish cartoons in their lastest issues. A small cartoon suited me to form my own opinion. Some newspapers showed even new cartoons, like extinguising burning oil with water.
The muslim people who are on the streets should learn that violence like kidnapping tourists, workers or other people and suicide bombs the wrong answer is to this situation. I enjoy their right of free speech in peacefully and repectfully way.
We Westerns have still learn and respect more of the middle east religion and culture as well the people in middle east have to learn and respect our culture, democracy and free press.
So both sides have to calm down!

USAF F-14
-5-
USAF F-14? It was demonstrated to the USAF, i’m curious as to whether it was given a suitable coat of paint. A Canadian Tomcat would be nice too.

There were several proposals for new Tomcat variants. In the early 1970s, the US Air Force was after an “Improved Manned Interceptor (IMI)” for continental defense, and Grumman modified one of the Tomcat mockups to demonstrate a solution based on the Tomcat. This concept featured conformal fuel tanks to provide considerably extended range, but the Air Force didn’t bite.

This scanned piture of an USAF F-14 I found a few months ago in this forum or even in this thread.
