    German TV:
ZDF spezial – Der Gigant hebt ab
    Erstflug Airbus A380

That makes no sense. Why would they stop the broadcast at 10.30 – the scheduled take-off time

    Austrian TV:
Zeit im Bild Spezial – Erstflug A-380:
    Channel: ORF 1
    Time: 09.25 – 12.10

This also means byebye EF2000 and hello F-35.

Yes, in a long-term Turkey will get the F-35 as a new fighter jet.

Source (in german): N-TV – Lockheed erneuert Kampfjets

The article also writes, that a turkish newspaper wrote last mouth, that Turkey were planning to buy up to 80 EF2000’s.

Do the F/A-18E/F Block II Super Hornet’s with the APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar system have a modified radome than the previous Super Hornet’s???

I hope, that the final 787 design will not look like a “pimped up” 767. I would remind me like the first 7E7 design.

I don’t like the final design, looks more “traditional” – like a 767NG.
I’m not disappointed by the loss of the shark fin, I’m more disappointed over the new nose.
Well, have to get used to it.

Traditional family design is more efficiency than a modern design.
Just remember BMW with their 7-er’s…. :diablo:

    C-17 center stick

I know, this is off topic:
Did Boeing ever research the center stick on the C-17 military transporter, after Boeing taked over MDD??

    787 final design

I just noticed one thing from the official Boineg picture (reply 10). The nose section seems to be rather narrow. Could this mean that the 787 nose will be stuck onto a future 737 succesor/version? Similar to how the 767 and the 777 share noses.

As I quoted here, Boeing will unveiled the 787 final design later this month.
    That’s just this week!
