Heavy Transport Helicopter
Hi folks,
there is a big article in the may issue of the German military magazine “Soldat & Technik” about the “Großraumhelikopter” or “Heavy Transport Helicopter” (HTH). I read it 2 weaks ago in a book shop at the train station. The facts are quite the same as google writes. I can remember 2 pics. One was the same, which Deino reported earlier (article in “Der Spiegel”). The other pic was a “cutaway”, which showed the main parts (NH-90 cockpit, 3 engines etc.). I might have more info and especially the pics tomorrow. 🙂
Maybe Deino will be faster and have it first on this thread 😉
Anyway, the Heavy Transport Helicopter is a big thing in the German Industry
At the ILA 2004 in Berlin there was even a meeting:
