    Grey Area said,

Agreed! Steph is obviously a superb photographer.

And again, Steve, we’re posting in French because it’s logical to thank her in French.

Or maybe I’m just a newb and Steve is picking bones with everyone… my apologies if that’s the case.

Steph, great photos… especially that of the NW 332. I hope to go to Toulouse near the end of the year, certainly to see the A380. Until then, thanks for the excellent and frequent updates!

Shadow 1 didn’t lie; he was merely thanking her. Besides, what’s a better way to thank Steph than to do it in French?

Steph — agreed; great photos! I, too, loved the NW 332.

InDEED! The KLM one looks great against that blue sky. Thanks again for the photos!

This airline is doing great, recently they have begun to flight to China with an A340, but the success of these flights is making them consider the purchase of a 747-400 or even a 777. I guess Boeing is very happy with this loyal costumer

They’d be a lot more loyal if they went for the 787 and not the A350 (launch customer at that!)… but I may be missing a bigger picture.

Is this one a filler product until the true 737NG/757 replacement arrives?

Been on a few… DC10-30 (UA) once, and four MD11 trips on China Eastern. The DC10 trip was Chicago to San Francisco; don’t remember much as it was both a long time ago and a trip on which I slept quite a bit. The MD11s I didn’t think much of; I know the China Eastern FAs liked them quite a bit. I don’t remember specific noise levels or anything specific that I didn’t like, but I think it was louder than the A340 I was on this summer.

T5, I asked this before, but given the extensive 777 fleet Thai had, why go 345 and 346 instead of 773ER and, later, 772LR? Would you think that it’s a timing issue?

Gotcha. Is it for certain that they’re up for 20 of the type? Or would it be a “blockbuster” order with A340s and more A330s? (For that matter, would the A345 or 346 even fit into the new business strategy?) Sorry for off-topicness…

When did USAirways sign a commitment for 20? I was under the impression this was a rumor?

(NOT trying to argue; trying to see what the details were because I definitely missed them altogether.)

Great pictures… unfortunately my stay in France is wearing out, so Toulouse no longer look viable. But thanks for keeping us updated!
