Has an A380 ever operated Paris to London before.

Yes, Air France used theirs for a few weeks on CDG-LHR-CDG the year before last I believe.

Thanks! I’ve got the free version of that, but my ‘allegiance’ is with Plane Finder! 😉 I’ve had it pretty much since release, and they regularly update it. Also I now have many photos tagged on there, so it’s nice to see those cropping up!

Sorry, I’m not able to confirm that, but…

Newark-Singapore is flown by an A340-600, isn’t it?

SQ21 is operated by an A345, fitted-out in a 100-seat business class interior.

Sorry, I didn’t get a notification of a reply and I’ve only just thought to check back. No problems, thanks for the welcome! 🙂

Hi all! I’m new so go gentle on me 😉

Just thought this may be of interest.

I checked Plane Finder at work in South Norfolk at about 16:00 yesterday 16/01/12 and saw G-BYAO heading across Norfolk eastbound at a slightly lower latitude than normal. It was at FL350 so I was pretty sure I’d see it if it carried on along the same heading, so I kept watching. It was a little hazy to my north so frustratingly i wasn’t able to see it with the naked eye. Then suddenly it executed a sharp 180° turn towards me, and it appeared out of the haze in mid-turn sporting some amazing contrails! It was down to about FL280 as it came out of the turn and I got a good view of it with the sun on its side, unfortunately i wasn’t wearing my glasses and didn’t have my bins on me so didn’t recognise at the time that it was now in Allegiant colours! As it headed west it continued to descend to FL150 and headed out to Peterborough, a route often taken by test flights.
As you can see it originated and returned to LGW, and was still operating with a Thomson flight number (which was showing an incorrect routing, as is generally the case with TOM/TCX etc flight numbers on Plane Finder)

Sorry i didn’t get any ‘actual’ photos, i didn’t have my camera with me and it wouldn’t have come out on my phone. Hope it’s of interest though!
