    CMH is actually the ICAO code for Columbus – Port Columbus International and the IATA for this airport is KCMH.

    Well thats they it has been, IATA – four letters, ICAO- three letters. I checked it up on airlinerworld.com when u go in to flight log and submit a flight in gives u an option to type find the ICAO for an airport so i typed in Malta and it came up with MLA. But i will also ask my friend who is a pilot.

    But you see, IATA codes are not three letter codes there are four letter codes, so when you guys are talking about IATA codes being three letters your actually refering to it incorrectly. ICAO are the three letter codes.

    Im sorry Robc i wasnt paying much attention to the USA crisis, I do apologise!! I heard about Air Canada but didnt know the extent of the aviation market up north.

    Yep Im right about the codes.
    IATA are four letter codes,
    and
    ICAO are three letter codes.

    IATA codes are four letters, Eg KLAX,KSFO,KORD
    ICAO code are three letters, EG, LAX, ORD, SFO

    I agree Keltic, i recon that Lufthansa should apply more colour to the fuselage, at least paint a blue and yellow stripe.

    Thats great, I heard when Airbus released the A318 that there orders for the aircraft werent as high as expected and that some airlines cancelled their orders. I think BA was one of the airlines that canceled their order, im not exactly 100% sure on that thought.

    But great news Air Malta is undergoing a fleet renewal program by ordering 6 A320’s and 7 A319’s, go Air Malta.

    Best Airport?

    Well I have been to KLAX AND KJFK in 1997 when i was 11 but i like KJFK but then again KORD is a pretty good airport. So I answer with to of my favourites.
    KJFK and KLAX.
    Others airports:
    KSFO
    KORD
