Jon James quoted:
Yes i would agree that the sunni-american allience is helping in the drop of casualties
Yes, this is what I meant, so argument is over. I don’t condone violence in Iraq against innocent civilians from AQ. I have to be clear about my position on this.
Putin would agree with me 100%, because he doesn’t want to take lectures and nonesense from a country like America. You leave him alone and he has no problem with any country in the world. Let me tell you Mr. Putin wouldn’t get offended if you don’t like Russian culture, but American would. If any country interferes in Russian domestic affairs, he is in for rough ride with Mr. Putin, simple as that.
In sofar as they get $300 a month they wouldn’t complain about any accidents. They were earning $0.00 prior to that .When you pay a mercenary, he/she fights for you. Do you think they would fight for America out of love?
The fact is their co-operation brought about important transformation in the security process in Iraq. One cannot deny this. Give credict to where it is due.
Let them come back and you will see the numbers of American casualties rise dramatically. They have done a good job of really confronting AQ in Iraq,
otherwise no America was chanceless. This are some of the costs of the war that is dragging America into recession.
Flex297 quoted:
It is incredibly low maybe due to the fact that mostcombat is actually being performed by locals?
Guess what, Slovak forces in Afghanistan also had incredibly low casualty rates. Looks like they are even more professional than British. The fact that they hardly saw a live Talib during their missions is negligible
Flex297 is right, this helps to explain why in Iraq today the casualty rate of Americans fell comparatively to some months ago.
The Americans are usuing the locals in this Sunni areas, to do the job.
The mostly Sunni Arab neighborhood patrols have some 90,000 men in western Anbar and provinces north and south of Baghdad. The U.S. military pays them $300 a month to patrol their neighborhoods and man checkpoints.

Technology is only half the equation.
But rather unfortunately all Americans think, technology and economics is the complete
equation, which makes them feel that they are above everything else, which is in essence a “cultural schizophrenia,”
Who cares about “low-context” culture, Russia today doesn’t care and isn’t interested in others seeing her as very important.
I am saying Bulava is not on a par with Trident D-5, Trident D-5 is 2 decades behind Bulava.
The engineering solutions employed is stagering at best.It requires successive optimizations to achieve its perfection.
If you building 21st century state-of-the art technology like Bulava, you got to have failures for correction ,and checks and balances, it is a complex and ambitious missile system, that is it.
120 successful test launches- post development launches of course, it doesn’t include trial launches.
Jon James quoted:
oh come on 1Man, your not seriously trumpeting the capabilitys of the Russian conventional forces are you? Even the most rabid Russian military zealot would admit that there conventional forces are weaker compared to America by a huge margin. It will be many years yet, decades perhaps till you and Russia can bask in glory again, not that the people did but thats a different matter altogether.
Now i will grant you that Russia could match the Americans in nuclear capabilitys but i do wonder, just how well kept are the Russian missiles and more importantly the warhead. Also the new Russian sub launched ICBM has failed what 3 out of 4 tests was it? That dosn’t bode well for the future – imagine if three quaters of the sub launched missiles failed in war——————————————————–
The Bulava SS-NX-30 is a 21st century state-of-the- art weapon system under development the technology which is 20 years ahead of its competitors.
Compared to the Bulava system, the trident is 2 decades behind Bulavas.
Designing, manufacturing and testing a breakthrough revolutionary technology is not like making potato chips in a factory ready for comsumption the following day.
So you think the Russians are so stupid as you claimed them to be by putting their submarines into use when they aren’t ready.
Do you know how many lunch failures the Trident program had?
And let me once again tell you that no matter how inferior Russian conventional weapon technology might be ,the “mighty”U.S would never, never never God forbid dream of carrying out pre-emptive conventional war against Russian even if ordered by the almighty God above to persue such an adventure promising divine intervention .
If America technology is so superior ,why didn’t she fight them for over 60 years now, it is quite easier bullying 10th grade military powers all over the world, heh!!!.
Think about June 1999 in Pristina. Why didn’t the mighty America issue 24hrs altimatum to the Russians to drag them out of the airport, after they seized the airport ,scared huh!!! despite their inferior tanks at the airport.
The coward general Wesley Clark ordered the British general Sir Michael Jackson to drive the Russians from the airport. And do you know the answer he gave back to him? “I can’t fight your 3rd world war for you”, he replied.
Let tell me you, according to a Russian general they were damn prepared to fight,– a setup though ,but the sensible and elite British general saw the writing on the wall.
The coward U.S general was as scared as hell to take any action. Thus
the Russians occupied Pristina airport for 2 weeks before a negotiated settlement took place, consequently giving the Russians a chance to partake in the KFOR peace mission. I was then on a visit to Belgium, and do you know what a comment a Belgian made during an Interview on a television. ” The Russians brought the mighty America to her knees”

Cool -bit mapped MIG-29.
This test is nothing new, it is no feat in itself,it has been done 40years ago by the Russians and the U.S, the most important and worrying scenario is the environment in which it took place-space to the detriment of commercial, economical and social interests of mankind.
Tomorrow you would see that a defunct Russian satellite may have to be destroyed, and then the chain reaction has already begun to manifest itself.
So can it intercept sophiscated ICBMs like SS-18 the “Satan” or Topol-Ms or SS-24s some of which have over 1000 decoys, with manoveurable war heads.
also unvernunftig leistung.
Some commentators said that pressure from France, which wants to sell its Rafale jets to Algeria, could also be a factor behind Algeria’s reported rejection of the MiGs.
Andrei Maslov, head of a Russian think-tank specializing in African studies, Rosafroexpertiza, said that Algeria could be tempted to purchase French jets as a complement to booming energy sales to France. “The money spent on Rafales would be just a fraction of what it will earn by selling gas to France,” said Maslov.

nice try egberto but you do realise 99% of the RPG rounds that hit m1’s don’t even bother it. hell i rememeber hearing about a marine aav-7 being hit with upwards of 50 rpgs in the fullujah ops, warheads failing to detonate or simply bouncing off lol.
Blatantly untrue, I will soon post you the photos to the forum of destroyed Abraham tanks M2 and M1s by RGP-7 not even RPG-29,in Iraq, and I would prove that with factual graphics and not hearing a marine saying this and that. Do you think they would tell you the truth, that they have been busted by vintage 1960 Soviet RPG-7 ? , they have pride too as human beings- those marines.
Yeah !!! 1960 Soviet designed antiquated RPG-7s have busted both Abraham1 and 2 tanks(so-called and vaunted the world best tanks) in Iraq, what is the noise and buzz about old t-72 tanks busted by modern anti-tank weapons?
Hey Mr. GaryB
How are you doing?
Perhaps a little country like Georgia might drag NATO into a war with Russia… I am sure Sferrin will get very excited about that
I got it.
