    Having done two Sundays at Shuttleworth, I’d encourage any other members of this forum to join SVAS and then to come along – it’s all good fun and helps Shuttleworth.

    It’s easy to pick holes in the RAF Museum at Hendon, but at the end of the day they obviously have to work within a restricted budget.

    If they had any spare cash, I’d rather they did a re-build of some of the existing exhibits such as the Beaufort.

    Well, if it does happen, it’ll be interesting to see a P38 in the Red Bull paint scheme !

    You are playing the worlds tallest Santa being dragged (as is usually the case) through the town centre on a Sleigh(with hidden wheels – towed by a ratty old Land Rover) to the sound of really bad Christmas Music on a really bad Portable Stereo? The Sally Army will of course follow along close behind.

    Just been up to the Midland Counties site near Hinckley. Very impressive (but bad for the wallet).

    The range of books and videos is very impressive.

    Melv – they’ve even got your Hurricane book in there !

    Well worth a visit if you’re passing

    Can’t make it, I’m sorry to say. I think I’ll have to wait until next Spring for my next Night Taxi run !

    I would really recommend this for anyone who hasn’t been – well worth the visit.
