Good to see the Victor and Shack restoration underway at last.
Has the restoration of the F-105 Thunderchief actually started or is it just a survey?
I hope that the “effect” allows Vulcans ‘426 and ‘655 to be maintained and placed under cover. Maybe the Sea Vixen will have a sponsor?
As for the Americans, they already have a Phantom flying in private hands so the other great has to be a Thunderchief. If Mr Allen can have a Me262 rebuilt from parts then who knows?
All the best TVOC.
Well done everyone, that’s absolutley amazing.
There’s probably a bit of every surviving V-bomber up there, certainly Southend’s XL426 and Lindy.
Yes, maybe XL426 will get some money to help with the fuel problem?

Are they going up again today?
The TVOC website is down and so are the cameras.
I say chaps someone go and reboot the server, please.
I hope they drink the nearest bar dry, well done everyone.:) 😀

ON SKY NOW!!!
Looks like the red beacon, on the top of the aircraft, is on.
Shame no one can feed the radio transmissions out on the net.
While we’re all waiting let’s guess the time of all wheels off – 13:03?
Piece on BBC website

I think the second site is slowing down now.
Can anyone hack the Sky feed?;)
The webcam views keep changing. Currently showing rear view aircraft being hauled by tug along taxiway away from the QRA shed. Roped off area to the left for the lucky ones?
She is OUT behind a tug! Teasing us with waving from the ground team.
Too many people logged on to thw webcams?
Try clicking ‘Live’ then ‘Play’.
All I can see on the webcam loop is a car transporter and people in yellow jackets.
I’m sure we will know soon.
Sorry to read about the theft.
Any information from the locals? It’s not as if the museum is on it’s own.
Can museums get a grant for fencing and other protection?
Look like many of the OFMC aircraft are booked to display at The Victory Show in Leicestershire. Does anyone know if they will take off and land at Duxford or have they moved to the Midlands for the weekend?
It’s worth waiting for the OFMC to return to liven the place up.:)
Duxford – what a lean list of display aircraft?
There are some jems of aircraft acts out there, so why not sign them up?
24 quid is taking the p**s – and starting at 14:00 to boot. Where is the money going?
