Is there any evidence that TPM are unwilling to share their jig? I thought the option to purchase the T.43 instead of pushing ahead with the Mk.IV was financially driven and as being dual control offered the opportunity for other pilots to be trained on the type?

I would hope that there is/has been cooperation between the two groups in a similar vein to the Typhoon projects.

While I would love to see some of the aircraft recovered, particularly the TBD, how feasible is it given the depth they are located at?

Whilst I have disagreed with various other decisions by the RAFM over the past couple of years, I do not really see the problem here.

There were 2-3 instances where damaged Spitfires landed on French beaches during the evacuation with their undercarriage down and were subsequently destroyed by the pilot. So the film gives a relatively realistic portrayal of such an event in my opinion.

Not sure why James Holland continues to argue that a Spitfire would not have landed with it’s undercarriage down. It has been proven to him that it happened on 2-3 occasions during the evacuation of France.
