2 t-45 against 20 Granits? Not easy to decide. 4 T-23> 4 sov or udaloys??? Sounds like a joke.

Again it will be graney not oscar or akula in 2014. Astute looses.

Russians don’t do block upgrades. Its usually continous upgrades. Most likely the latest Kh-35 would be ahead of harpoon Blk-2. Whatever happened to Blk-3 with 180 km range? Also if we are talking of air launched Harpoon the range is 90 odd km isn’t it?

Harpoon won’t be integrated with Mig-29k. It already has Kh-35and Kh-31 in antiship roles. maybe Air launched klub in the future.

Ok you are going off topic. Geopolitics are imposed on the military by politicians. PAF cannot be blamed for them.

When was Russia ever a partner? Since 1964 they have been India’s ally. I don’t remember PAF even trying to procure anything from russia.

Chinese planes were/are no where near as sophisticated as western or even russian jets. I can’t see acquiring F-104’s or sabres or F-16’s as blunders. The blunders were not acquiring M2k’s in 2000 when pressler amendment came into effect.

Nah..I doubt IN’s interest in Harpoon unless it is forced down their throat via P-8I or whatever. IAF needed some western AShM to replace sea eagle on Jags. Otherwise even harpoon wouldn’t be accepted. They already have Kh-31/35/58 and brahmos. There were rumours that air launched klub was also being made but haven’t heard about it for a while.

They never had any other choice. How is a compulsion a blunder?

Whats a fizaya? I would rate getting A-5 as the biggest blunder. Its a totally useless plane.

Klubs will remain in the inventory for a while. Especially on the talwars and Kilos.

We are going off topic but lets see…

    1) UN was founded in 1945.
    2) Arabs decided to violate it in 1948 by declaring war against Israel.
    3) Since they set the precedent I don’t see why they are complaining if Israel or US follows their example?

No swerve I was correct. Israel and arabs were both given land under UN. Arabs decided it wasn’t enough and attacked. The rest of the land israel has is simply war compensation. Though I would support creating a palistinian nation with land from west-bank and gaza.

After UN declaration it wasn’t Israel that started the war. Arabs came they saw and they lost. tough luck.

Iran. Who else? F-16 blk 52 would be more advanced than any plane in IRIAF’s inventory. Of course I don’t think Iraq will buy more than a 3-4 squadrons.
